The sound is very muted and not as ping as it should be. Also came in a slightly different wood color if thatMatters to you. Def just spend ten more dollars to get a better one lol

It's a block, made of wood.
I was hoping for a deeper, richer tone. The "sweet spot" is hard to find and it doesn't sound too terrible once you find it, but it's not great. This is probably best for something cheap yet pretty sturdy for kids to bang on.
