Hi i think the controller broke after several years of great use! it's out of warranty now. where do i purchase a replacement controller?

Can it be use at 240volt?

Hello,

Our mats are made for U.S. electricity 110-120v/60hz with the 2 flat rods plugins for the standard U.S. grounded socket.

But we have a lot of customers successfully using hundreds of our products in Europe, UK, Israel, Russia, HK, Korea and even Australia with 220-250v/50hz.

But ALWAYS they use the special step down power transformers and converter devices from to 220-240v to 110-120v

Better to have the converter with stable voltage output. Simple adapter will not work and may damage the mat and the controller.

Remember, please, that the power of the converter should be at least twice of the mat power consumption ) so for example min 250w is fine for the Mini Mat 20"x32", 350w for midsize 25"x59" Mat. But 500w at least should be used for the Pro or Single Size Mats.

The mats work fine with these devices and we support our customers abroad with replacement controllers if necessary. Though it takes place very rare, please, consider that the customer service may take longer and though the parts are free during the warranty period, the shipping expenses will be for your account.

The mats should be taken good care of. They are well built to last for many years but still can be damaged if improperly used ( watering, standing, running, dancing on the mat, heating mat in folded or bent condition or folding it while it is still hot ). So better to avoid such issues.
