This magnifying glass is well-balanced and comfortable to hold, even during extended use. I used it for long periods while working on a paint-by-number project, and it made the fine details much easier to see without causing hand fatigue. I loved it and would definitely purchase it again!

It is not the strongest magnifying glass I've had, but it has a lot going for it. It is a nice hefty weight and it's so well made, I think you could even drop it on a hard surface & it would be ok. I have a lot of stuff on my long workbench and I like that the bold coloring can be easily spotted, without me having to search for it.I recommend it and would purchase it again. Why did I not give it 5 stars? Because I believe it could have a little stronger magnification to it. However, for my purposes, this is fine. Thank you for reading my review.

Absolutely AWESOME!! REAL GLASS!! This works for someone who has low vision like me. Glad to find glass...the plastic ones stink.

Came iin handy to see with

It's a little heavy, but that's what you get for a glass lens of this size and thickness. Nice, clear view for most all uses. Optical diameter (or aperture) is about 96.8mm or 3-13/16ths inches (nominal 4"). Big enough for both eyes to get a look at a 1-1/2-inch-wide object with magnifier held about 4-5" above it...for stereoscopic viewing. Handle is comfortable and construction seems sturdy with hard, tough plastic frame and rubber edge all the way around (it might even survive abuse by a 2-year-old...but don't do it--glass!). Is it 10x magnification? I don't know how to measure that. I'd say it makes things appear about 2x larger. Whatever it is, it sure helps make smaller things easily visible for my 58-year-old eyes. I'm happy with it. It does its job. I can clearly read fine print. Color fringe (chromatic aberration) hardly noticeable, only at the edges of view. Definitely the clarity of a glass lens, not like plastic.There's no built-in light. It's just a magnifying glass.

Well for 9 bucks it's a lot of glass. Mine came with a crushed box and the lens is a bit scratched.. It's quite heavy too. But it's totally usable and I like it.
