I bought this fan last year to take with while I was selling products at farmer's markets. It gets really hot being outside for 8-9 hours straight & I was looking for a battery operated fan for some relief. I liked this one because it's small, quiet, & has good air flow for its size. Fast forward to current day. I'm currently sitting in a dark house because a storm knocked our power out 5 days ago. It's summer where I'm at & it gets hot with no air conditioning or air flow. This little fan has been such a help during this prolonged power outage. It takes 4 D batteries, but they last a long time. I've been running it all night to help me sleep and the batteries are still strong on night 3. When I did farmer's markets, I used the same batteries all season long (May-October) & never needed to change them. It's very lightweight and the batteries go in its base, giving it some bottom weight so it doesn't fall or blow over when you're outside. It's a really good fan & I may even buy more in case of future power outages.

Having just gone through no power with Hurricane Beryl in Houston for long periods of time, I decided to get my act together and begin prepping early for whatever may come (which I hope it doesn't). I tested several fans, and they were all versions of awful---too loud, only one way to charge them, or did not blow strong enough. So of course the one fan I had zero hopes of being good, turned out to be...really good. This thing feels cheap, some would say looks cheap, and doesn't look like it could cool anything down but it's 100% the opposite. Level one is like a very faint breeze, level two, maybe the level of a hand fan, and level three is a strong breeze. My hair was moving back on level 3, so I was quite impressed. The unit can run on D batteries or USB. You CANNOT use have both in at the same time. If you want to use USB, it must be plugged in, the unit does not charge up so keep that in mind. Thanks to my prepping, I now have an indoor power station and this thing is only 5V, so good to go. Pros: powerful on level 3, can have it run on a timer, very light weight, low cost, tilt function, it can be taken apart to clean the blades, can run on battery OR USB plugged in. Instruction manual is very thorough giving tips of what to do for maintenance issues and longevity of the product. Cons: (not really) but I wish it could be charged up on its own without being plugged in, but I knew that before I bought it and level one really is quite low on the air, but everyone is different and that might work really well for you, but I'm buying it for disaster preparedness--power out--no a/c, so I need something strong, and thankfully level 3 is good.

I bought this fan last summer because of frequent power outages. It is small but mighty! It ran on the batteries at lowest speed for days. The fact that it can run on usb and that it can use rechargeable batteries is another win. It is light and portable. Don’t let the size fool you. This is a great little fan!!! Highly recommend!

This item was purchased because of recent power outages 4day. Without a fan, phone charger and lights. There is no light . I added the 4 D cell battery and got a nice airflow.Great ,quality built, small easy to carry comes with a charging cord. Like it reasonably priced, a great backup. Now I am prepared 👍

Welp, I just lost power for 2 days so I got to put this fan to the test. I had bought it for power outages specifically because it's battery operated and it has the ability to be tilted in the direction you want, plus it has so many great reviews! I usually sleep with the white noise from a pedestal fan and I wanted this to replicate that, which it did. I didn't realize how handy the timer settings would be, but it was great to conserve the battery. I set it for one hour to fall asleep to which was perfect. There's 3 power settings and even on the 2nd setting it created a decent breeze. Thankfully it was mid-70s in the house so I didn't need the fan to really cool off but for a battery operated fan, I think this would do a decent enough job for one person. My only complaint is the buttons are hard to feel around for in the dark. If they were lit up or raised / textured or something, that would be the only improvement I could think of. All-in-all, a fantastic fan. Very glad it's in my power outage kit.

I brought this fan with me on a two week trip to Mexico (no AC) in my personal item. It was the world against me and my tiny fan. This is now a beloved part of the family. Great size in my tiny hostel bed or even at the foot of my bed. It also feels very sturdy, for already being so well travelled it has held up very well. The three speeds are great and it really puts out some power. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Yes!🙌🏻 This is a great little fan for the ballpark or any event to help keep cool!!! Was a life saver at the ballpark this summer! The price is great and batteries have lasted through multiple long days!! It is quiet and has adjustable levels for added comfort!

It works okay but it doesn't have as good of a breeze as I had hoped.

Bought it as a gift, to use in a restaurant kitchen to cool off the cook, without cooling the food off. Works wonderful, love the ability to tilt to make it point directly at a person. Also love how it runs on batteries, so no plug in needed. Highly recommend buying rechargeable batteries. This fan runs as long as it is as advertised to. Wonderful product!
