Does this fit a staedtler lead holder?

Yes... these are 2mm and work fine in the Staedtler holders

Does it come with lead?

The one I ordered was an F lead. It has a nice grip and came with a lead installed. I purchased extra lead Mitsubishi UNI brand. Works great

Does it have a built in eraser?

It does not have a built in eraser.

Does the red lead erase easily?

Yes...however you should get a good quality eraser. It is a thicker lead and if you press hard the impression will be there for sure, even if the lead is gone.
