Fitted works well. I am a fan of Patriot memory, seems to work well and be dependable. going from 16 to 32 deffo improved my system.

The best quality RAM you can get for the price offered. Pretty solid and well designed. Easy to plug in and use. The packing was great to make sure product doesnt get damaged on the way.

I've managed to run this RAM kit smoothly @ 3600MHz, 16-17-19-36, 1.38V (Ryzen 7 3700X/B450M MSI Gaming pro) and it's much higher than I'd hoped. Use Ryzen DRAM Calculator for fine tuning, the RAM chips are Hynix CJR.

Best ram ever

I needed memory and this was at a reasonabilish price for 32gb. My older patriot Viper 4 memory failed, basically giving so many errors was corrupting files, the operating system and on a memory test one module clearly had huge issues. I removed the faulty module and ran on the remaining one. tried to invoke the warranty, and they asked for both modules back, wouldn't accept one. this would have meant no computer, for weeks/months while it RMAd ? Had no choice but to purchase new memory. Looked at my old modules and thought, what's the point of paying to send them back and get replacements, no use to me, won't mix with the new modules. I wish these "lifetime" warranties would actually be flexible and of some use...rant off.

The RAM kit I bought was faulty, which I discovered only after my PC started randomly crashing as time went on. After doing a memory test and confirming the hardware fault, it appeared that this is a common issue with this manufacturer. Their "lifetime warranty" was also misleading and of no use - the manufacturer attempted to charge me a ridiculous fee for international shipping despite the fault being at their end for sending defective RAM in the first place.

Brought this kit to upgrade from a 16gb kit had nothing but issues when trying to run it in XMP modes, ended up having to leave in the Motherboard default speed of 2133mhz to keep it stable on a MSI B450m Gaming Plus motherboard with a Ryzen 5 2600x. Was going to review it at the time but waited as I was going to be upgrading the Motherboard and CPU anyway in the future. Now I have it in a Gigabyte X570S UD Motherboard with a Ryzen 7 5700x and the memory is now running at 3200mhz in XMP mode. Before you buy this memory kit be sure to check your Motherboard and CPU will fully support this memory, especially if it's an older Ryzen MB and CPU. I played about with the timings in DRAM Calculator but couldn't find any timings that would stick and work properly on the B450m MB but from some research it may have been more to do with the Ryzen CPU than anything.

I had to return this product as the height of the DIMMs meant I could fit my AIO in place. I'm using a Fractial Design Define Mini C case with a Fractial Design C24 AIO. Part picker showed no incompatibility but they do not all fit together. Swapped to the trusted Corsair LPX Dimms.

Good performance memory kit. Easy set up in bios for the xmp profiles. No crashes.

Patriot is one of the better-known brands for RAM, and Patriot Viper is probably considered for just about every single custom PC build out there unless you're looking for something more niche like RGB lights or some crazy heat spreader. We've used these in a few builds over the years, and they've never failed us (knock on wood). Nothing to write home about in terms of timings, it's just one of those standard options that work out of the box.

Per chi come me ha necessità di una macchina con almeno 32GB di RAM ed è possessore di una piattaforma Ryzen (ASUS CH7 + 2700x), trovare un kit di memoria stabile, performante e dal prezzo accessibile non è certo una cosa semplice. Ho studiato parecchio tempo prima di procedere con l'acquisto di questo kit di memorie ma alla fine sono stato ampiamente ripagato dalla loro qualità. Il kit è composto da due moduli da 16 GB dual channel con frequenza di 3200 MHZ CL16. Presentano un design originale con dei bellissimi dissipatori in alluminio e una colorazione neutra (buona per tutte le build). Sono moduli privi di RGB e solo per questo meritano un punto in più nella mia valutazione finale. Le memorie si basano su chip Hynix C-die (o CJR/CFR se preferite) che si sono mostrati sin da subito estremamente "amichevoli" con la mia piattaforma Ryzen (quasi al pari dei famosi chip Samsung B-die ma che costano il doppio!). A conferma di ciò potete trovare in rete numerosi articoli nei quali è stato più volte messo in risalto la bontà di questi chip "alternativi" con le piattaforme AMD. Ma veniamo all'atto pratico. Se non vi va di cimentarvi nella pratica dell'overclock delle memorie, non dovete fare altro che installare le RAM, avviare il PC, entrare nel BIOS ed impostare il profilo ASUS DOCP (o in generale XMP) per portare le memorie alla massima frequenza dichiarata senza alcun problema. La mia piattaforma, in questa configurazione "della casa" (3200CL16), ha girato per più di una settimana senza aver avuto il benché minimo problema (sessioni gaming, esecuzioni parallele di macchine virtuali, Codifica/Decodfica video). Mai un crash! Dopodiché mi sono cimentato con Thaiphoon Burner e Ryzen DRAM calculator per cercare di alzare un poco la banda di queste memorie senza intaccare troppo sui parametri di timing. Veramente con un minimo si riesce a farle girare stabili a 3333CL16 con gli stessi timing di fabbrica. Con qualche ritocco in più sono arrivato a 3400CL16 stabili (che per me è veramente un ottimo risultato). Per il prezzo pagato (143 EURO) considero quest kit di memorie della Viper come uno dei miei migliori acquisti di sempre. Un vero Best Buy!
