They sort of work, depending on what you're needing them for. They do not keep my heel from slipping out of the back of my shoes but they have prevented irritation on the backs of my ankles. They adhere SUPER GOOD to the shoe and do NOT come off when you're slipping your shoes on and off - even if it's a tight snug fitting shoe. The odd thing, that I did not expect, is that you have to put them kind of far down in the heel to prevent them from being seen out of the top of the shoe - which I suppose only presents a visual problem if you're wearing ankle pants.

Returned- never used because they had no real adhesive property and they pushed my foot too far forward in the shoe.

Just don’t. Hard and actually adds to heels blistered. This product has a great adhesive compound, but not cushioned enough, too bulky and adds to much pressure which leads to blistered and rubbing Vs. preventing them

These were way too much padding for me but they are super soft - just not what I was looking for - I wanted a thinner piece just to hold the shoe in place.
