On my powerful Industrial Walking Foot Consew 227R-2, I discovered I could "back down" on the size of my Sewing needles, from a 23 or 24 down to a size 20 and still get the job done punching thru Heavy Denims or Vinyls. The Organ 135x17 Series Size 20 Needles will leave a much smaller "hole" print in your fabric, while keeping your stitch length nice and long. For the Desperate Sewers out there, with smaller "Home Sewing Machines" who constantly find out Retail Sewing Center Store outlets like Jo-Ann Fabrics, and even Walmart barely carry sewing machine needles over size 18, never fear, hope is near. Amazon should have size 20 needles for you right here. Just make sure you get the HA 135x17 series needles (popular with Home Machines). Those needles are the ones your Granny showed you with the "Flat Head on one side" thingy going on at the top. enjoy!

These needles work great on my Juki!

After trying to get this size at the craft stores I had to order online because there was no place that had this size. And this are some great needles, I use one of them to re-do our boats seats and it did its job, no bending, braking, nor problem.
