Okay so my son is generally a size 7. Per the other reviews I ordered a size bigger and the reviews were 100% right. This is smaller than should be. The size 8 fits like a 7. Also pretty disappointed because I thought this was a hoodie but it is a long sleeve shirt. The material is way to thin to call it a hoodie or sweater. We live in The northwest part of the US. This is not even considered a light sweater. Honestly I feel lied to and I would have never paid that amount for a shirt, they are many better options for Pokemon shirts that cost less on amazon. No we are not returning it because my son has been waiting a few days for this and loves it. No I would not buy again. No I would not recommend.

My 7 year old son LOVES this sweatshirt and wants to wear it all the time. Unless you know the symbol for pokemon you wouldn't realize that's what it is and that is what I think makes it cool. As a mom I like that it isn't an in your face branded product but it is pokemon so he loves it. If he happened to be wearing this in a great photograph I happen to get of him one day, I wouldn't think twice about putting as an extra picture on the back of my Christmas card. If it had in big letters Pikachu with creature image it wouldn't make the card.

The sweater is nice. Good material, nice decal on front. Only thing I don’t like about this hoodie is that a size 14 is a slim, long fit rather than it being a normal size 14. Definitely runs small. My son is 7, wears a 12 hoodie and the 14 fit him snug but over all was able to wear it. When he finally got to wear it is when I noticed it was not sewn by the arm pit area leading down to the arm. A good 3 inches. If I caught this during the return period I would’ve returned it! Luckily I was able to sew it. The sweater has pockets, not a kangaroo pouch. Which I find odd. It’s an ok sweater, I could’ve taken my business elsewhere with the amount they ask for!

Based on the reviews (thank you!), I bought a size 6 for my almost 4-year-old son. And I'm glad I did! Anything smaller wouldn't have fit over his head. He's 38lbs, and typically wears a 4T in pants and shirt. The size 6 is perfect in the body, but the neck opening isn't huge. I'm probably going to let a couple of stitches out so it's easier. Otherwise the fit is perfect. It's a little thinner than I expected, but it's great for a Pacific Northwest Spring and my kid was THRILLED when he saw it. It's really so adorable, I'll probably get him a second one that's two sizes up for him to grow into. Because I doubt the intense obsession with Pikachu is going anywhere.

Way to small order a size or 2 up from what you wear

I loved this hoodie! I was worried because some people said it was too thin, more like a tshirt material. I ordered one for my son, and one for his friend's birthday.They came quickly and were packaged well. Very soft and ours has handled washing well. We live in Indiana and I feel like it is a perfect spring/fall weather hoodie.My son is 47lbs, 3ft 8.5in tall and normally wears a size 6/7 small in shirts and jackets, and those are typically a bit large on him. We ordered the size 8 and it fit the same. Definitely size up for your kiddo.Overall I'm very pleased and will likely be purchasing more!

Quality on this is not bad - I saw other reviews saying this was more like a heavy t-shirt and didn't find that at all. It was more like a light sweatshirt and the quality was decent for the price. However, the fit is SO off. I would definitely go up 2 sizes.

I purchased the size10 for our 8 year-old grandson. He loved it, but it absolutely fit closer to a size 8 than a 10. We wanted him to be able to wear it in the Fall so I returned it without difficulty and purchased the size 12 which fits like a size 10. The sweatshirt is on the lighter weight side.

Very small. I bought 2 sizes larger than it should be and it was still too small. No idea why they would do this. Also for an expensive official product I would say this is a second. The transfer as pictured is inferior and not acceptable as will only worsen in time. Demand quality or go else where.

Got son next size up. Fits well. Washes well. No bobbling yet ( approx 4 washes). Would have been nicer a thicker fabric. Fabric feels much more lightweight than school round neck jumper. Son really happy with this hoodie.

I bought this in size 7-8 as a Christmas gift. When it arrived from the seller it felt really bulky in the package so I opened it. It was a size 12-13 in a 7-8 package. I contacted Amazon to sort it out and it will take around 2 weeks for me to get my money back and be able to order an alternative without being out of pocket. This is clearly the fault of the seller and neither them or Amazon are able to rectify this quickly for me.

My son loves this hoodie it thin but feels quality. Perfect for summer nights. It does come up small I ordered a size bigger for my 5 year old after trying one on my mom bought. We often have this problem with hoodies fitting over his head so if you have a small head it might be truer to size.

My son never takes this off except for when it needs a wash! My son is small so is a little big but we expected that and is not a fault of the product. This sweatshirt has been washed multiple times with no signs of wear or bobbling. The sweatshirt came within good time and was packaged appropriately.
