Perfect replacement on my wide mouth Nalgene.

Nalgene tops nowadays are almost always fitted to the bottle with a round connection. But, the old nalgenes relied on separate tops, which naturally get lost in the mountains or on the way home, and then your bottle is worthless. I found this top at Amazon and ordered one. It fits pretty well, although it is clearly not one of the good old fat tops that originally came with this unit. It has a great color, so you are less likely to lose the bottle. Will give it a real test this summer.

I love the bright color. This is great quality, no leakage. There is no awkward smell or taste. Super easy to put on and is strong.

Would recommend not taking it off the bottle when you wash it. That’s why I needed a replacement. Was easy to put on, is a good durable plastic.
