Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask, White/Coral Review: Comparison of the Aqua Sphere models - I rarely, rarely write review, but I am so passionate about swimming that I thought that I wouId write a review to give my feedback for comparison on the different Aqua Sphere models as far as the fit for a woman. I am first going to compare this to the regular Aqua Sphere Seal which I have been wearing for more than 20 years and overall have been happy. When I started wearing them, it was the only product on the market where it sits on the facial structure and not in your eye sockets. What I don't like with the regular Aqua Sphere Seal is that it goes very high on my forehead and pretty wide on my face which would result in some leaks if I didn't put it on dry onto a dry face. This would be a problem if I had to take my goggles off to defog them in the middle of a swim. Then leaking could be a problem. I had always wondered about the other models. I have a small face, so I decided to try this mask to see if it might fit my face better since it is made for a woman. I am so glad I decided to try it! This goggle is a pleasure and an improvement on what was already a good goggle because the size was more appropriate to my face so it is more comfortable!! It is smaller, so yes, there is less view, but what you lose is at the far range of eye movements, and it is painful to look that far at an angle anyway. The Ladies Vista provides an EXCELLENT field of vision, and functionally speaking, it is as good as the regular Aqua Sphere. I swim for 40-60 minutes and it remains comfortable. I also have been in a lake where I was swimming and doing work on my dock where my head was in and out of the water. The Ladies Vista remained comfortable and vision was clear even after an extended period (at least 90 min) even when my head was out of the water. NO LEAKS! This is important to me because I wear contact lens. The quality seems comparable to the regular Aqua Seal, so I expect that I will get a year out of them, maybe more because they fit better. One bad thing--it fogged up immediately with the first use. No big deal, anti-fog coating doesn't last that long anyway. Spit or no fog drops work just fine. I'm not sure if I rules out the Kayenne on the basis of reviews here or if I tried it on in a local store. I ordered the Seal XP for ladies at the same time as the Vista. The angle of the silicone skirt dug into my skin and was not comfortable at all. They are going right back to desertcart. FYI, the field of vision is as good as the Ladies Vista if they happen to fit your face. Everybody's face is a different shape. The Vista Ladies is so much more comfortable that I'm going to use it as my primary goggle. My regular Aqua Sphere is going in the closet as a back up. Review: No marks on face, no fog, no distortion, no leaks, and pretty! - This review is for the Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask. AWESOME MASK. First I ordered the men's Aqua Sphere Vista Swim Mask and both my husband and I loved it, in fact he loved it so much he stole it from me. Then I saw there was a woman's version and ordered the pink one to try. Just like with the men's, there was Amazingly Clear Vision in the water, & NO FOG & NO LEAKS for a full hour of swimming! I couldn't believe it, after suffering with normal swim goggles for years that sucked my eyes out and left horrible marks. Being older now, I couldn't see getting eye wrinkles from goggles but still wanted to wear my contact lenses and open my eyes under water so I started a big internet search and I am SO GLAD I found these! By the way, I also tried the Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask (very large, but fit Neither my husband or I around the nose--didn't seal) and the Aqua Sphere SEAL XPT LADY Swim Mask (exactly the same problem--didn't seal around my nose, and made gouges in my face). My husband and I both have large heads and ample noses, which may affect the fit, but between the Vista and the Seal versions, the Vista has more generous clear molding around the edges that create the super strong yet gentle on your face suction-seal. I was walking around my apartment for 20 minutes with the Lady Vista suctioned gently to my face WITHOUT the strap on, just to see how comfy it was! I wish the lady's version of Vista came in more colors and lenses. There's only 2, and no dark lens, so for outside I'm using the men's Vista, which fits pretty similarly.

Love AquaShere, sad that two pair of these have been useless
I have multiple pairs of Aquasphere googles and some work great. I have bought two pair of these "coral" women's Vista goggles and both are 100% unsatisfactory. The lens in the first pair literally fell out after about 20 uses. I bought a second pair about 1-2 months ago and have been treating them with tender loving care (washing after use, storing inside the house between swims), but they continue to leak regardless of what I do. When I first put them on my dry face, they work for a few laps, then the leaking starts and I can not find any tightness to stop it. The saddest part, I have tried to contact the manufacturer and left a message for a call back, but no one is calling me. This is why I am leaving this review. I will buy another pair (not the women's) and see if that works. I am VERY disappointed that I am unable to talk with someone from Aquasphere and that I may have to abandon this brand if I cannot figure this out. Thanks to Amazon, I can return this pair and get my money back.

This mask works pretty well for a narrow face.
About my purposes and the fit: Most week days, I spend half of my lunch hour swimming laps in an outdoor pool. I'm a petite woman with a narrow face and small nose, so all goggles and masks I've tried leak instantly around the sides of my nose or at the top of my cheeks near my temples. According to the picture and reviews, the Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask seemed like a solution. I've had this for about two weeks and though it beats any goggles I've had, it still leaks a little near my temples. My silicone swim cap is thicker than latex ones, so I have to wear it far up on my forehead or the edge of it causes the mask to leak above my eyebrows. To customize the shape of the mask, when not using it, I wrap a rubber band around the whole mask from each end, near the latches. This curls it slightly inward to help it stay sealed. About facial indentations: These don't mark my face nearly as much as goggles. The wide and flexible edges disperse the pressure over a larger area. It leaves a small line on my forehead and cheeks, and one between my eyebrows, but I prefer that to indented circles around my eyes and it only lasts half an hour. About the lenses and view: This does allow a much wider range of vision than most swim goggles, which helps while swimming back stroke and looking for the edge. I wish there was an option of tinted lenses, because for back stroke, the sun is blinding. (Some sites do offer the very similar "Aqua Sphere Seal XPT Ladies Swim Mask Tinted Lens".) The lenses of mine seem like they'd scratch easily, but I keep them in their hard plastic case and I'm not often in sandy environments. They fog up just a little. For me, in around 15 minutes, about half a teaspoon of water leaks in, which is OK because with the roomy inside, it doesn't get into my eyes. Before draining it, I face downward to clear them. The wide and flexible edges allow me to drain them just by lifting a little at the top of my cheek. About the latches: The mechanism is extremely easy to use! To loosen, push on a small tab that allows the ribbed bands to slide freely. With the mask on and straps in place, simply pull the ends of the bands outward and the latch automatically catches. One problem is that mine won't stay extremely tight. On one side, the band tends to pull back out a few notches. Each end of the band is single and wide, splitting into a dual area in back. There's a plastic bracket of some sort around each side of the band, but I don't know its purpose. Maybe I could somehow push the loose ends through the brackets to keep the ends from flapping at the sides of my head, but it would not be easy, and the ends don't really bother me. (Any clues would be appreciated.) About the appearance: These are more bulky than goggles, but I'm no racer so it's OK by me. Amazon & most stores only offer the color combination that they call "Clear/Fuchsia TR/Light Smoke". The rims of the lenses alternate between translucent gray and translucent dark pink. I did find a few sites that offer the accent color of solid blue, solid red, or solid pink. About the price: I paid about $30.00 for the mask. That's a considerable expense to me, but adjusting the mask every 10 laps, as opposed to every other lap, saves valuable workout time. Overall, this mask works quite well!

Great seal, super-comfy, leave no marks
Ordinary goggles were never comfortable and always left me looking like the Creature from the Black Lagoon for a couple of hours after my swims. Now that I'm over 50, they wreck my face for an entire day and even leave bruises around my eye sockets. After lots of research, I found the Aqua Sphere Vista line and couldn't be happier. They are amazing. The seal is so good, you hardly have to tighten the strap. They leave a slight mark on the bridge of my nose, but it doesn't last for too long after I take the goggles off. I did have a problem after 13 months, when, right at the beginning of a workout, I felt a "pop" as I was starting a workout and discovered that, above one of the lenses, the frame had broken. I was still able to finish my workout, and they didn't even leak, because the seal was still good, the frame just serves to position the gasket and lenses on the face, and you don't have to keep the strap tight on these to maintain a good seal. After I got home on the day they broke, I discovered two more cracks in the frame--one in exactly the same place but over the other lens (oddly symmetrical to the broken side), and one below the lens. I had only been swimming a couple of days a week and had switched to a different pair of Vistas (tinted) for the summer, when I swim outdoors, so it's not as though these goggles had a lot of mileage on them. The frame was obviously defective, so I contacted AquaLung, submitted a warranty claim, and just received a brand-new replacement pair in the mail. Their customer service is excellent.

Great, but.....
I have a big head and a wide face with wideset eyes, which is usually a problem for other goggles. These were just great, almost like not wearing goggles at all my vision was so clear and open - and then one side started to leak a little. As others have noted, not a huge deal because they're so big that the water pools under your eyes, not in them, unless you're swimming underwater. After maybe 12 swims, however, one of the lenses popped out after a swim and fell into my swim bag. I tried popping it back in, but there's daylight between the lens and the seal. I have to find the details and send it back to the mfr, which is a huge pain - I would just toss them if I didn't like them so much.

Amazing product
If you're tired of red, painful marks left by traditional goggles, these are for you. I'm a long-time lap swimmer who for years used foam goggles. Yet even that type of goggle caused circles & black arcs. I got indented areas under my eyes from them. Suction goggles seemed very speedy, but the fit was unbearable & they left me with red & blue compressed marks (dents) around my eyes. The Vista goggles fit closely without cinching. They keep water out & provide a clear view. They're remarkably aerodynamic. Best of all, they don't leak. And no red circles. The only complaint I have is that when they go, the go -- the plastic material around the lenses wears out after about eight months of steady swimming. But it's a small price for such amazing swimwear. I highly recommend this product for swimmers of all types & abilities. It's an amazing alternative to traditional goggles for comfort -- and yet keeps water out without leaking lap after lap.

I have had very good success with the Aqua Sphere SEAL
THEY LEAK! Oh I agonized over this decision for weeks - a month! Reading the reviews. I have had very good success with the Aqua Sphere SEAL, but I messed up the lens. :( So I thought I would try something new and smaller - I was wrong. They leak every time. I stop, adjust them, suck them back onto my face, start swimming, and they leak. I'm very disappointed. I should have stayed with the Seal! :(

Clear and Comfortable
These are the 2nd pair of Aqua Shpere goggles I have bought. They provide an excellent seal around the face, creating a vacumm seal. Easy to adjust straps using a press button to release and then secure in position. Good peripheral vision too. Not too bulky and not too small. They sit around the eye sockets, on the bone, rather than within the eye sockets so they sit more comforatbly than smaller designs. Having said that, they are not at all heavy or bulky like a driving mask. Highly receommended.

Buena calidad y buen precio
Las pedí porque tenía unas iguales y me resultaron muy cómodas. Estas aún no las he probado. Son unas gafas que se adaptan perfectamente a la cara y no entra agua. Además las he cogido a buen precio.
