This company does not have the likes it deserves. I ordered the Uncle mikes version of this and it was absolutely horrible and screws stripped yet they have great reviews!? This is the product you want - all metal and constructed so well!

I installed this on my 1965 Winchester .22 rifle auto with tubular magazine. What you need to do is cut 3 small pieces of Scotch heavy duty electric Tape. put the tape on the tube where you want the swivel. Then install the hollow threaded screw in the bottom hole. Screw it in until you see 2 or 3 threads showing on the exit side. This screw is very important to how tight the clamp can be tightened. Now put the sling strap swivel through the hole and through the other 1/2 of the mount. Now place the unit on the magazine tube and slowly start tightening the locking screw. If the locking screw starts to get tight and the clamp is still loose you must disassemble and screw in the barrel screw a little more and retry. I was able to tighten down the locking screw so tight i thought it might strip but it didn't. I mean i got a good reef on it. I tried as hard as i could to move the swivel on the tube and i would not budge. Next I trimmed off the tape that was showing with a razor blade and all is good. Who ever thought of the barrel screw for width adjustment is a great designer. It will work. Enjoy your sling and swivels...Cheers !

Good fit for Henry 45 colt

The description was inaccurate. Definitely didn’t fit the size gun stated in the description. However the parts seemed of quality. Refund was quick and not difficult to achieve.

just what I wanted

Bought this for my Mossberg 464 lever action. Normally, I am a big fan of Grovtec stuff - but the clamp for the magazine tube just did not work as well as I hoped. It would clamp onto the tube, but then the swivel would not fit through the hole. I had to loosen the clamp, put the swivel in, then tighten the screw. Works, but the swivel is a bit tight.
