I’ve colored my hair at home for YEARS, and considering how long I’ve been using this specific hair dye (for the last 10+ years) my review is a little late. BUT I have to say this is one of the few products I continue to come back to. Every time I use it, I’m reminded why it’s become my favorite. The instructions are easy to follow, everything I need is included in the box, and the results always leave me feeling like I just walked out of a salon. After not dying my hair for so long my hair starts to become greasy at the roots even though I wash my hair everyday, but after I use this my hair feels and looks brand new! What I love most is how evenly the color goes on. It completely covers my grays without looking flat or unnatural, and the shade turns out true to what’s shown on the box. My hair looks rich, shiny, and full of dimension instead of looking overprocessed or dull. I also appreciate that the formula feels much gentler than some other permanent dyes I’ve tried. It didn’t leave my scalp feeling irritated, and my hair actually felt soft and healthy after rinsing it out. The conditioner included in the kit is amazing—it left my hair feeling silky, smooth, and much easier to style. I found myself running my fingers through my hair because it felt so soft. Another thing that really impressed me was how well the color lasted. Even after several washes, it stayed vibrant and didn’t fade nearly as quickly as other brands I’ve used. My hair continued to look fresh, glossy, and healthy for weeks. For the price, I honestly don’t think you can beat the quality. It saves me the time and expense of going to a salon while still giving me beautiful, professional-looking results at home. I’ll definitely keep purchasing this hair dye, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable gray coverage, long-lasting color, and healthier-looking hair!!!

Fantastic !!! My hair was like dark maroon cherry and it took out every single stran of red !!! Freaking amazing !!!! Thank you ! Package well done and made nothing broken or anything ! But was slight warm that’s my fault because I was out and it was sitting in the heat for like maybe 30 -32 minutes today’s my birthday wanted my hair done ! Even did my eyebrows ! 10-10 also I didn’t need Vaseline it looked like it dyed and stained my head but once in shower it went off !!! Just saying !

UPDATE: I left a glowing review for this product three years ago and have been receiving it monthly since that time; however, the last three or so boxes that I received, the product was WATERY after being mixed - so much so that it made it difficult to apply with a brush as I usually do without making a complete mess of my surroundings. Even as the product oxidized on my skin, it was a lighter color indicating the product had been diluted. I am unsure if this is from Loreal directly or if the distributor is somehow altering the product; however, I have discontinued my auto delivery of this item and will continue to purchase it from my local pharmacy to ensure I am receiving a legitimate box of Loreal hair color. As far as the results, my coverage seems a little lighter than usual as well, probably as a result of the thinner mixture not clinging to the hair but just laying on my scalp. Very disappointed. I am a 51 yo woman and I've been using medium brown for roughly eight years. Every time I go to my stylist for a trim, she comments on how beautiful my color is and then I remind her it's Loreal in a box and we both laugh. Great value and great coverage. I have very stubborn grey and this is the only product that seems to work and my hair is super healthy even after using color for years.

I only use this hair color. It covers the grey completely. It is easy to apply and doesn’t drip everywhere. The conditioner that comes with it is a quality conditioner. I’m very pleased with this product.

An outstanding price in the coverage is great. To me it’s always a positive when there’s great gloves inside of the packaging compared to the super plastic ones that end up breaking.
