I went to my local shop to purchase the newest Witches Almanac and found exactly what I needed that I never knew I was looking for. A couple books on Sabbats caught my eye. "That other book" had recipes and craft instructions for each Sabbat. Straightforward and much like a cookbook, it was decent if that suited my tastes.No. I wanted artfull storytelling to introduce me to the celebrations of the wheel of the year. Lady Passion and Diuvei deliver. Although, I can see more advanced Pagans appreciating the eloquently worded "love letters" to memories that bring appreciation to the art of ritual and community. And her writing is like a love letter from a grateful heart.In Lady Passion and Diuvei's recent contribution to the Pagan/Wiccan community at large, you'll find food recommendations and ritual suggestions, traditions, considerations to both solitary and coven witches, etiquette, recipes, pentograms, preparations and checklists, and more. So much knowledge. For under $15 in stores, this is a bargain.The more I read, the more I understand the importance of the order in ritual. Their is a reverence portrayed within these pages. I feel I've been let in on a secret. This book is a treasure.
