Perfect size and sturdy.
Exactly what I was looking for! Doing ALL bamboo setting for a wine tasting with charcuterie board. These are sturdy and perfect for my needs. Photo is the place-setting, using a 6" bamboo plate, for size reference.

Love them
Don’t judge a book by its cover! Everyone at my party made fun of me for using these. But they are actually way better than plastic (and stronger). By the end of the night I sent the link for these to many of my friends

Environment-friendly
Have you ever felt guilty using disposable plastic cutlery? I would assume so if you are in the review section of a wooden cutlery product. Well, I also felt the same. I work in an office and I would usually bring food from home and of course I would add stainless cutlery in my lunch bag, but there are times I would forget when I am in a rush so I would always use the plastic spoon and fork available at work. It happened so often that I really felt bad seeing those 1 time use plastic spoon and forks in my trash so I ended up deciding to purchase these wooden cutlery and hide them in my drawer for when I would forget to bring from home. This really helps me feel less worried about the environment knowing that these are a bit more environment friendly and are more sustainable to produce as well.Upon reviewing, there is a slight initial taste and feel of wood that you barely notice, depending on what you eat. If it's too dry of a food then it might be more noticeable but not that you will lose your appetite. Also, never have i gotten a splinter from these, so that's not something you should worry about. This is also created to be very smooth and safe to use for eating, trust me. If you are trying to go a more eco-friendly route then I highly recommend this product. I finished up one box and the fork seems to always go our first so that's something to keep in mind. I am asian so I also use the spoon pretty regularly so that's the 2nd one to go for me. The knife is still from my first set so I have just been buying in separate. Hope this helps!

What I wanted but not practical
Very cute, Aesthetically pleasing, spoons are great for use. Forks are short and wide not allowing for any food to be picked up. We ended up switch to regular metal forks.

Really sturdy well made silverware
Little pricey, but worth it. Well made. Smooth finish, sturdy, no odd taste. The knife really cuts, fork ok, spoon is really shallow... no good for soup, but fine for oatmeal. Poplar wood from managed forest growing trees for everyday use. Wood is truly recyclable and conpostable. I will buy again for family events and business hospitality.

Compostable wooden utensils
Compostable wooden utensils - I purchased these because they are compostable. Let's face it - wooden utensils take a little getting used to - they don't 'slide' into your mouth - it takes a little practice to stab something with the fork - the knives work about as well as any plastic knife. But the best part is - THEY ARE COMPOSTABLE. Single use plastic is so BAD for the landfill and lasts for hundreds - maybe thousands of years. We gotta start thinking about that. Single use stuff MUST be compostable or biodegradable. Just sayin. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. As a top 30 reviewer, I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.
