This monitor of blood pressure has most of the features that you need for a good price. The pressure detector is in the sleeve rather than the wrist which makes it likely to be more accurate, and it has an electric pump up action making it easier for people with arthritis to use. In addition, it has a connection to an app to record and monitor the blood pressure, and a warning if there is any heart fibrillation present when the readings are taken.All in all a good machine. The only addition that I might be looking for is an ECG monitor showing a graph on the my computer, but that is going to be at a much higher price.A good buy.

TERRIBLE ITEM & CUSTOMER SERVICE! My pulse & BP were constantly incorrect when the cuff wasn't trying to sever my arm by getting too tight & when trying to resolve this i got a patronising email back from Emma at "customer services" telling me how to use a cuff & that I had hypertension instead of the more than one qualified doctor saying it was hypotension.

Don't have to use batteries as stated in the answers. This unit has a standard socket on the side for a 6V DC plug. Manual says it requires min 1A current rate PSU so most of those should work. e.g a variable ac > dc psu.Not USB, Not 5V.Screen is bright back lit, couldn't find another unit in this price range that had Bluetooth connectivity to an App as well!Also irregular heartbeat detection, 2 user, with memory storage too.Also takes an average of the last 3 readings which is useful.

It very accurate compared to doctors and wrist cuff

Pump failed to inflate the cuff after a couple of uses. Returned for refund.Update: The seller contacted me a few weeks after I returned the item for a refund and sent me a replacement or a different model free of charge. I'm happy with the replacement.

met the needs 100%. works well. easy to use. used daily. takes a minute. just had to ensure the right placement of the cuff on the upper arm / biceps area and that it wasn't on upside down. press the start button and away you go.

Arrived today and there is a spring missing in the battery section so I cannot used it!!! Very disappointed. Returned and ordered a different product
