What is the carvacrol level?

Hey Lynne, I looked on gaiaherbs.com and here is part of the information given on their site..."This plant has many volatile oils. The main volatile oils that have been researched in this plant are Carvacrol, Thymol, Eugenol and 1, 8 cineole. The plant also contains appreciable amounts of Rosmarinic acid and other antioxidants. Oregano is high in antioxidant activity, due to a high content of phenolic acids and flavonoids. Oregano contains key constituents that function synergistically to support the body�s natural resistance to microscopic invaders in the environment. Specifically, the volatile oils found in oregano, contain potent phenols, including carvacrol and thymol, which help to support a healthy microbial environment in the intestines and throughout the body."  As far as the carvacrol level goes, here's a tidbit on that I found on http://www.oreganocures.com/carvacrol.html ..."A lot of attention has been given to the predominant phenol, Carvacrol, which is an important component of Oregano oil. Depending on the quality of the Oregano, part of the plant distilled, expertise of the distiller and yearly variations in growing conditions, Carvacrol can be found ranging from approximately 30-87% in traditionally (naturally) distilled oils." Are these organically sourced and non gmo?

The oregano for this product is ecologically harvested, which means that it is either grown in the wild or grown in managed woodland areas, away from sources of contamination and without overharvesting. It just comes in a dark bottle sans the cardboard box. That's how I bought mine. Same product, less to discard.
