Murach's MySQL: Training & Reference

I have been using this for a little over a month and while my professor said it is not required, I'm glad I purchased it. The additional practice has allowed me to feel more confident while trying to digest complex topics.I highly recommend you use this and complete the end of unit example problems.

I liked the 2nd and now the 3rd edition is even better of course adding with upgrades and changes.

If you know a decent amount of data analytics, then this book will serve you well in learning MySQL. However, Murach MySQL (3rd edition) does not define any of the terms it’s presenting. If you are expecting this book to teach you about data terminology, then this is not the right book.

The concepts are explained in as few words as possible, making reading a pleasure. Explanations are to the point and in an easy to understand style.

I bought this book for my wife and the books is good for understanding basics of MySQL and even they provide you the database table scripts which can be ran in your local MySQL server so that the examples discussed in the book can be run in the local server. Definitely beginners need some professional help in understanding the concepts and running the examples in local server.

Being a programmer, sometimes placing direct relational objectives are best implemented by coding. MySQL by Murach's gives fundamental and easy to follow direction to these relational programs.

It has someone else's handwriting in it. I didn't find this until after time for it to be returned for a refund. The material in the book is great. I would recommend buying this book, just maybe not from Amazon. This is the second or third book I've recently gotten from them that that hasn't been new, but it has been sold as new.

The 2 page system works well, whether you are just checking how to do something or learning from scratch.

Tratta l'SQL standard e specifico di MySQL, introduce all'analisi dei Database, passa poi alla programmazione MySQL (loop e istruzioni di controllo), con anche una breve (forse troppo breve) panoramica sull'amministrazione dei DB (salvataggi, restore e poco altro).Consigliato per i programmatori, non per i sistemisti DB.Tutto sommato abbastanza buono, mi sento di consigliarlo.

This book is great, a lot of content that would take you from beginner to advanced.

Got it for college. Pretty good guidebook for setting up mysql databases and queries and overall help around workbench.

Murach's MySQL is systematic and comprehensive.
