Hi - the title say 2.5 lbs but the product description say 0.9 - 1.4 lbs. Which one is correct?

Average size is 1.2 lbs. 2.5 lbs is incorrect and this might be a typo added to the listing by an old seller.

Can this be shipped to California?

Yes and No. Sorry for the cryptic answer. The California foie gras ban has been lifted earlier this year, so it's perfectly legal to ship and sell foie gras in California and we do this daily. However, Amazon has not yet updated their policies on this product and has this as a restricted product for delivery in California, so through Amazon.com we can not currently fulfill foie gras orders to California.
