Awesome sun shade

I don't think it blocks 50% of light. I put a double layer over my greenhouse and was still getting a good deal of light coming in, maybe 75% blocked from 2 layers. I ended up replacing it with a 90%.It's great that it's white and reflects heat rather than absorbing it like dark colors.

Easy to cut to measure, sew casing, hook n loop, grommets or loops for D-rings. This roll of Cooleroo was used as a visual block for end of patio deck at apartment. Great for windows or outdoor areas that face West to assist in sunblock but still allow light through.

I was having problems with the California Sun burning my plants. I put this up and they all TOOK OFF! Highly recommend the White 50%.

Secured this to the inside of my greenhouse and immediately knocked the interior temperature down by around 10 degrees Fahrenheit! Easy to trim to the size you need but because only the full length of its edges are finished, cutting it smaller will cause it to shed tiny pieces everywhere! Other than that ~ easy to secure with binder clips or greenhouse twist clips!

We purchased the product when it was unavailable and it took Amazon to filled the order rather quickly and that we are even more amazed with the price at 10.34 a roll (YES, YOU READ IT RIGHT $10.34 per ROLL). Well, the party is more realistic since the current price is $139/roll. We have converted our backyard into Home Depot garden area (yeah, it is that hugh) and it is better for the plants as well as easy on our skins care. Double the layers and it will cool down at least 15°F and add some mist going and you will soon add another layer of clothing or appropriately a blanket, well maybe that is a bit exaggerating. But we are hanging out in the backyard 4-5 hours without a need to run inside the house to cool down and save the A/C running time until later in the evening 8-ish to cool down and easy for the night living. And the next project is the whole house fan to suck out all hot air and drag cool air in from the windows and doors would cool down the whole house without the use of A/C, which the amperage consuming is larger than the fan. While the hot air is being evacuated into the hotter environment attic thus two birds with just only one stone cool down the attic.

Using it to shade my new pawpaw trees, so far so good.

Super quality and the length of the roll (which sometimes gets scrimped on) was generous. Substancial weight and just what I needed for the job.

arrived quickly--easy to work with-we cut into 4 25' pieces to cover sections of our greenhouses ti cut out a portion of our southern sun exposure--time will tell if it works..
