You pay for what you get. This part is not a quality piece. I installed the new fuel cut off valve and as soon as I put in gas it started leaking. I had to catch all the gas and remove it. Checked it out and the gasket split. It split where there really isn’t any pressure when snugging up the small bolts.I contacted the seller and explained the situation. They wanted the VIN number, a picture of the ATV and a picture of the part.This is all before they will move forward with fixing the problem. The is all is all for a .30 cent gasket. A complete waste of time. This is a complete waste of my time and the time I’m spending on this review. I just wanted everyone to know about this sellers response instead of just sending me a new gasket.I installed the old original one from 2002 and it didn’t leak, go figure. The only reason I replaced the part is because I broke the nipple off to the fuel line removing the tank to clean the carburetor and change the spark plug.

It fit and worked great. The fuel barb wasn't very strong and broke (partially our fault) while trying to install/uninstall the fuel line. I did buy another one.

If you need a Polaris #7051006 fuel shut off this is the one you need.Many others say they replace this but the shaft from the tank to the actual shutoff is longer just enough to keep you from using the black shut off from the factory. Only this is an exact replacement. Also the metal ones have leaked when they are brand new. They are cheaper but this one works. You could spend your money on this or spend your money on junk.

Very cheaply made product. Completely made out of Plastic. Upper pick up tube was pulled out when it was delivered and wouldn’t stay in by it’s self. Being optimistic I glued it in and installed it any way. First attempt at shutting off valve with gas in it the plastic shut off snapped due to it being so tight trying to turn the valve off.

Went to install and found fuel valve would not turn. After further looking at the red valve was pressed on 180 degrees off. Had to gently pry out and away from the stops and spin 180 degrees. Pressed back in place and installed. Hoping there are not other surprises.

they are very stiff and their made of plastic so if they don't loosen up a little they will break. They are very difficult to seal to the tang as well.

This item was nothing like oem. Looks can be deceiving. Plastic is flimsy, on off res shut off is made so cheap it bends when you turn on or off.

Really good part. Good price and delivered quickly. Cheaper than oem but just as good and the cork gasket was great!
