For decades, the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire have been at war. The Sith have gained control of the Outer Rim, but their efforts to penetrate the Core Worlds have so far been thwarted. Now, representatives from both sides attempt to negotiate a peace treaty - but deception by the Sith puts the Jedi in an unfortunate position... Review: Star Wars: The Old Republic Volume 2 - Threat of Peace - I have read it before on The Old Republic's website, but I wanted a physical copy, so here is it. Excellent graphic novel, provides a lot of extra information relating to the upcoming game. Delivery was relatively quick, and the product was not damaged at all while being shipped. *Thumbs up* :) Review: Dark Horse Delivers - As usual, Dark Horse continues to make the Star Wars Universe better in every conceivable way. Part 2 of the prequel to The Old Republic brings in characters you will meet in the game, making for a fun comic that you will have more fun with once you play the many character options in the MMORPG.

Good story, bad art
Great story, but the art was terrible. Not that the artist isn't talented, but not good art for a comic/graphic novel. The story was good, but it was, for me, irritating to read because the art was all over the place or too abstract or whatever. Just not good. SWTOR is a world I wish more artists and authors would pursue and develop.

Good read
Found the story interesting but it was quite hard to follow as the storyline jumped around between the different character stories without developing the previous characters. I was flipping back and forth to try and connect the different characters and their actions to what I was reading.

A let down from volume 1
In anticipation of the upcoming Old Republic MMO, I figured I'd check out some of the story surrounding the game. I really enjoyed The Old Republic, Volume 1, since it was told from the point of view of an up and coming sith in the empire. The artwork was quite satisfying and the story captivated my attention long enough that I finished it in one sitting. Volume 2, however, was quite different. The artwork felt too rough and unfinished for my taste and the story just wasn't as good as the first one. In this volume readers get the history of the treaty of Coroscant and the attack on said planet by the sith. The overall story was interesting, but the dialog in the comic was forced, contrived, and bland. I didn't feel any real connection with any character since there are so many in the comic and they switch between them so often you aren't quite sure who is doing the talking. There was a poorly done romance thrown in with no rhyme or reason, and when key characters were killed the characters seemed to do little more than shrug. The only reason I didn't rate this a 1 star was there was a helpful summary of characters and events at the end of the graphic novel. It too wasn't terrific, but it helped serve as a cheatsheet of the key players in this time in the Star Wars universe. I'd only recommend picking this up if you are really looking to get every bit of lore you can before the game and can't find it at a library. Do pick up Volume 1, however, it is quite good. I am hoping Volume 3 will be up to the same quality as 1.

Probabilmente è l'inglese...
Bello il Fumetto, ma mi aspettavo di più. Alcune azioni mi sembrano troppo frenetiche e veloci. Io l'ho comprato come tappa buchi alle storie dei romanzi

Boring.
This was simply a boring story. Sure it gives a lot of lore information but the general story feels rushed, the characters insipid and they even come up with character development that never had a start so doesn't make any sense. I was very disappointed.
