Glory Professonal Silver Plated Alto Trombone Mouthpiece 12c

I had not played in years, but I was an all county player in high school. I got a good deal on an instrument at a yard sale but had no mouthpiece with it. I wasn't even sure of my ability to play. But it came back fast. I even remember most of my high music from memory (40 years plater). This cheap mouthpiece has served me well. A mouthpiece is a personal choice and if I continued to play and do something more with my instrument I am sure I would probably look for something better, both in an instrument and a mouthpiece. But for a piece to get started with you cant go wrong with this one.

I bought this mouthpiece to replace the plastic one that came with my $75 P-bone. No way I was going to spend another $75-$250 on just a mouthpiece. I had no expectations but this spud is as good as the high priced silver. I've been playing it daily for a few weeks and it has not tarnished. No nicks, no bumps, it's a nicely turned bit of metal. It fits perfectly into the instrument and sounds great. I'm guessing that the plating is super thin and not at all durable, so I don't use any sort of brush on it, just warm soapy water and drip dry.

The price was right and it arrived quickly and either does the job or my son‘s not good enough to notice the difference - probably some of each

You can't beat the price! This works perfectly and although it isn't a big name brand it is just the same but a fraction of the cost. I have been very happy with mine which I use on my student trombone which I use for class demonstrations as a music teacher. Parents are happier with the price so I have purchased extras to keep on hand. What a bargain and high quality.

My son lost his mouthpiece for his Jupiter trombone and we bought this as a replacement. Sound is the same as the factory mouthpiece and it is attractive looking.
