Use this for scouting - have boiled water quickly during a cold weather hike and it by far has been the best stove used with the troop (compared with 2 other not so quality stoves). Also, brewed coffee for scoutmasters when Starbucks was not so close!! Great value for a quality stove.

I bought 5 stoves to figure out which style and features worked best for me. This one was my least favorite. It took the longest to boil 2 cups of water @ 4min 40 seconds (sea level), it was the heaviest @ 10.7oz, it used the most gas to boil the water, and the support legs are questionable. When the legs are compressed from the weight of a pot or skillet, they squat and twist. I'm not sure how much weight it would take to actually twist the legs, but I did not want to find out while I am on the trail. It did block wind well, the gas was easy to adjust, and the lighter fired right up. But I do not trust the legs on this stove. The other 4 stoves, which finished higher in my test where the Redcamp double ring, Redcamp windblocker, the Ayada windblocker, and the Etekcity ultralight screw ontop. Those 4 finished with higher evaluations.

This is an awesome little camp stove. I just did a mile hike and I could for 2 people with this little stove and it did amazing the only thing I did not like was sometimes I had a problem Stabilizing my Pan. For the money the size and everything else it worked perfectly. A definite must have if you're a packer.

Over all this stove is great for the price, it would be nicer if there was one more leg or support for the cook ware as the spiraling legs can make some things a little unstable but works fine for circular pots and pans

stove works great! I like the wide base to it allowing me to cook on larger pots.The sparking starter doesn't work consistently but other than that it works very well.

Simple to use, small to pack and works great in most environments.

Marking this down a spot from my initial review because the Piezo ignition broke after the second use. Still works with a match or lighter or sparker, so pack those along with.

This is a light weight compact stove. Works well even in the wind. Boils water quickly.
