Prices Tea Lights (25 x Citronella)

The candles came in time but the wick was melted into the wax of half the candles.

Well supposed to keep them dive bomber insects at bay but did not seem to do much only time it helped was when I threw the pack at a wasp

Came on time and well packed and had a strong citronella scent, unfortunately these are the only positives. Difficult to light and even on a still day they went out within a minute. The wick was so short that it seemed to drown in the was. I tried putting them in various tea light holders and on the ground but still the same result so useless for the purpose bought. I thought they were too cheap so should have gone with my first instincts. Will use to scent the garage.

Got these as rumours were that they to some extent repel they who shall not be mentioned, but turn up the instant a picnic hamper lid creaks. In 15 years I’d never seen a fly or wasp in my garden. Then I bought a BBQ, and at the flick of a switch the onslaught arrived and basically my wife and I were so fly covered on our plaid white skin we resembled oversized Garabaldi biscuits. The uninvited flying vermin arrived on mass each meal time to ensure our outdoor meal times were about as relaxing as bomb disposal, so we thought ‘what to do’. After I’d decided napalm and frame throwers were probably excessive my wife found these. They smell much better than burned eyebrows and I’d say have made a marginal improvement in the comfort factor of our outdoor dining. We accompany it with a fan as they also don’t like air disruption. Overall we like these a lot, they smell fresh and have a wonderful odour. Will be buying again.

Well either I have a different product or there are fake reviewers. These arrived today. Calm and still outside and after less than 10 mins all three have just died. (Yes, two in the photo, the other as i typed. Tried indoors and the wick drowns in the wax. Utter rubbish, cheap for a reason.

I purchased these as they were advertised as being Prices (reputable brand/make of candle) however there is nothing on my pack of candles to suggest they’re made by Prices at all! The pack came all scrunched up and not looking like the flat pack picture at all, as a result the candles have all been damaged/dented! I put 4 on my outside table and they didn’t last for the 4 hours they are each meant to and the Citronella scent once lit doesn’t deter anything! Overall disappointing and you get what you pay for!
