Is this finely ground tea leaves or freeze dried tea?

It is very finely ground tea leaves and wonderfully tasty and easy to use. I am tired of dealing with tea bags.

How long will this stay fresh? Does it have an expiration date?

I didn't look for the expiration date. However, keeping it inside a glass jar should help it stay fresh till I run out. Though the bag claims to make up to 200 servings, I think 80 servings is the max. I am making 2 cups a day. At this rate, it will be finished in 40 days.

How does this compare in taste to Teavana or Pure Leaf bottled tea?

A lot depends on the strength that you want. I myself have found if I dissolve tea in a little hot water first it taste more like brewed tea. Remember a little goes a long way.
