These are Torx bits which have a shank so you can chuck them into your drill or similar driver. The usual bits have about 1/4" shoulder to fit into an adaptor which you then use in your drill or manual driver. When you use them if you get a little bit of cant the bit falls out. These bits do not fall out since they be secure in your drill chuck. My only complaint is why did it take so long for someone to create this easy fix? It is a pleasant surprise to find a fix for a too common problem.

If you own an out-of-warranty Mercedes Benz, you need these. This set comes with all the sizes you'll need to perform any repairs in your Mercedes, because they use hex head screws a lot! The set is very well-priced, and seems to be very durable.

Bought this set to get access to PCB in my Ryobi battery charger that died. Worked great and after a resistor replacement, the charger works like new (and did not have to grind screws to get apart).

When you need a certain size screw driver bit, nothing else will do. These are excellent bits and in a full size range. I never hesitate when purchasing tools. They will last forever and as long as I keep them all in their tight grip holder, they will be at my ready, when I need them. I hate starting a project only to find I don't have a certain size tool I need. I can use them in a magnetic screw driver holder or in my electric drill/screw driver. I had a big project and they stood up well, show no wear and should last a lifetime.

Good purchase. A must have for the 'not-so-common' Torx.
