My mom showed me oven mitts similar to this and I wanted a pair of my own, so I tried these. I am so happy I did! I've had no problems with handling anything hot and I love that the gloves goes half way to my elbows (I am tall, about 5'9" so may be different for others). The inside is blanket like it is so soft. The color is just an extra plus in addition to everything else.I definitely would recommend these.

Just as you would expect.

They are supple and easy to use for picking up hot dishes. I particularly like the padded cloth lining. Didn't feel any heat since most of my baking is done at 350 degrees, but I am confident higher temperatures will be no problem.

I gave this four stars because they are bulky and made for hands larger than mine and I take a size large.They are easy to clean and provide enough insulation to remove a pan from a 400 degree oven. Other than that my hands swim in them a little, I like them.

The big problem I have with oven mitts is they get dirty and can't really be cleaned. These are as heat-proof as any oven mitt I've ever used and they are a cinch to clean. If they get greasy or have food stains, I throw them in the dishwasher and they come out looking brand new.Highly recommended.

They are replacements for our old mitts. Holds back the heat.
