Part 2 has so many dark turns, surprising twists and new characters!For me, this was one of the favorite books in the EKC series and Tillie is the BOSS QUEEN! Her ruthlessness and devotion to bettering the organization she is given is what drives the book. I loved reading about how she demolished old practices and enforces new rules. I also was heartbroken over her loss of sanity in this book since it was the culmination of so much devastation. Her overcoming the loss of a child, a lover, imprisonment and then her family name was astounding to me.Nate became a favorite of mine again in part 2 since he also overcame his betrayals he felt towards Tillie. I loved their intense romance and the surprise at the end. I also felt like it was important that we saw how much anguish he had for the loss of their first child and the anger he had towards the killer.This couple grew so much in this book and I was there for it! I think Tillie becomes a backbone from this book to the end and she brings Nate along for the ride. I also loved how this is the book where everyone starts to question the older generations of EKC members and plotting begins about how to overthrow their reign sooner. My only draw was that I missed Madison and I hurt for Bishop since we saw how devastated he was for Madison leaving him.Rating: 9/10, great conclusion to Tillie and Nate!

These books are a doozy on the mental state but my goodness do I love it! You cannot get enough of these characters! It’s dark and sexy and oh so addictive! You will cry and scream and beg for more and Amo Jones will deliver! Do yourself a favor and read this! Nate and Tillie put my mental state through the ringer but I love them for it!

This book pulls at your heart strings so much! There is so much we learn in this book. So many secrets are revealed along with a lot of pain and some healing. And that ending was great!

Pain doesn’t define us, it shapes us.Amo Jones is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors for dark and twisty romance... And Malum, Part 2 was an outstanding conclusion to Nate and Tillie's romance. It kept me right on the edge of my seat. I have waited (with very little patience, mind you) for the conclusion to this particular story and that wait wasn't in vain. Amo delivered!!!!First, it is my opinion that the Elite Kings books should be read in the following order: The Silver Swan, The Broken Puppet, Tracet a Mortuis, Malum Part 1 and Malum Part II. While technically two different romances—the first three books listed are Madison and Bishop’s trilogy and Malum Parts I and II are Nate and Tillie’s duet—I STRONGLY advise readers to start with The Silver Swan as the events in Malum Part I and II will be challenging to follow without doing so. Moreover, you can not appreciate the depths of the stories without starting at the beginning. Now, I am not one for cliffhangers, and these books all end with one so go into the stories prepared to binge read. However, there is something I am a huge fan of, and that’s Amo’s writing and dark romance. And since her works are deliciously dark, super sexy, and offer readers a truly unique romance that I’ve found nothing to compare to, I can’t praise the author enough. Also, due to my refusal post spoilers, this review is going to be relatively light on details, so please forgive me.Nate and Tillie’s romance continues with twist after twist that I never saw coming. It’s epically dark, but also offers romance, redemption and love. Amo returns readers to the story that made me stand up and take notice of her as an author. The Elite Kings books are where I started my love of all things Amo Jones, and from that moment on, there has been no going back. I own each book she’s written, and I’ve now read one of them with each break I get in my blog schedule—which is saying something since I have a TBR list a mile long. Nate is fiercely protective and Tillie is sassy and strong as hell. This series is endlessly entertaining, and I cannot freaking wait til Amo releases Brantley’s books. The one thing I would caution is that you must be a fan of dark romance to appreciate this series because nothing about it is mainstream ‘warm and fuzzies’ romance. Amo Jones writes phenomenally well and if you’ve yet to read her work (and love dark romance, of course), you have absolutely no idea how very, very much you’re missing out. If I had the power, I would dub Amo the Queen of Dark Romance because she is without question a genius!!!

So many secrets are revealed, mysteries are solved and I finally get to see what an amazing couple Nate and Tillie really are. Amo does such an amazing job bringing these characters to life and making you want to keep on reading.This book has utter and complete heartbreak and loss. There are so many situations that make you say WTF just happened. But she does it in such a way that you know are in true Amo Jones fashion! Amo will indeed give her characters a HEA eventually but you will suffer during the process and cry your eyes out!A must read series

I could not get enough of this book. After part 1 and the ending, I read part 2 in quick succession and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.Amo Jones smashes my heart into splinters, then piece by piece she glues it back together. The mind is a powerful place, and I felt every emotion in this book. I cried, I crossed my legs in anticipation and I ranted and ranted to understand what on earth Nate and Tillie are playing at. I can not get enough of this dramatic couple.And Brantley....don't get me started on his sexy self. I'm so glad we got to see a softer side of him, he isn't all dark and brooding. I do have a thing for the psychos but Brantley has a side to him that I'm addicted to. He is a good friend along with lots of other amazing attributes.Tillie and Nate are the couple who will always disagree, because of their personalities but the ones who hate the most, love the hardest. Their love is one you can only dream about, or in this case, read about. True soulmates, and they come to realise that everything happens for a reason in the life of The Kings.I'm furious at Madison, but time will tell with their story!

I've been addicted to Amo's books since I first picked up The Silver Swan. Then I just had to read everything she's written this far.To say I loved every single line in every single book would be the understatement of several centuries, not just one.The Elite Kings' Club series take you on one helluva rollercoaster. And trust me, you won't know, or want to, get off of it. It's that darn spectacular.Malum I broke me, completely. I have cried so much, ever. But Malum II... this book absolutely obliterated me. I felt my heart being squeezed and crushed the entire time I was reading. Even now I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the plot twists.I really don't think I'll ever recover after this series & I seriously don't want to. With writing such as Amo's who the hell would. It's pure perfection.So thank you Amo for creating a world where we can escape, no matter how dark and twisted it is. We love it. Always.

Like many of the previous books in this series, I read this in one sitting. I finished it a few days ago, but couldn't write a review because my head was all over the place after reading it!There is so much I could say, but i don't want to spoil it, so i will just say this. If you like dark reads, then you will absolutely love this series.I easily forgot the main characters were in their late teens, because they displayed a maturity that was a result of the responsibilities they had from a young age. There is no room in their world for the weak.Amo Jones is an exceptional author, who can pluck you from reality and place you into the world she created.

What do you say when your heart shatters a million times, your eyes leak a lot and then at the very end of it all you find your happiness and peace?! We all know Amo is the queen, with every part of journey you gladly hand over a little more of yourself, the Kings and Queens will forever be in my heart and soul. To say this is just a story is wrong because it's soooo much more! You actually can feel them intertwining with your heart and you feel every god damn word, your heart beats quicker you get a lump in your throat you get nervous heartbroken and happiness. This isn't another story it's a journey you take with everything you have and you go through so much but come out a better you at the end. Amo I just want to thank you for this amazing journey, you bring me to my knees I am in awe of your talent and can't wait to take the next journey with you, this was perfection as always.

....I'll admit - the first half of this world? (Possibly even more 🤷🏻‍♀️)...I didn't like. At all!It was just to much, things completely out of control, so much so that it just didn't make sense! I've read books, dark books, really messed up books but they're usually redeemable, but a lot of this was just weird and over the top and unnecessary.However, come the 2nd half/end I did feel relief and it all worked out so it ended ok.Not sure if this review makes much sense?! But I always try to be honest, I usually love Amos work, but I feel the King's Elite series could've been better.3.5
