This hat is amazing for the price. You connect it to Bluetooth, and then whatever I put in the app, it appears on the hat. I did have some trouble at first getting it to charge, because I was too afraid to push the USB cable connector hard enough to get it all the way in. But once I got it all the way on, a charging icon appeared. I haven’t tested it in the field yet, but I can confirm that it stayed on for at least 2 hours after fully charged and it was still going strong. Also, the power connector is very delicate. Be gentle until you get it all the way on, then you can push it hard

The hat is fun and easy to use all you have to do is download a app and boom!!! U can draw and customize it, also make it go and direction or even blink. I love that you can charge the hat too instead of always needing batteries. Great product and quality thanks!

it's ok.. I wish for the money it could do more than it does. the app is kind of crappy, but the hat seems to be ok. It's not something you wear around daily so for a party or gag, it does the job

The hat is well made and the app works well. Better yet, the app doesn't require an online account somewhere and does not pilfer any information off your smartphone or tablet. Very useful in ZOOM calls!

I actually loved this hat, but was only able to enjoy it for a couple of hours. Once I disconnected from the hat I was never able to reconnect to it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software without success. It was great while it worked but now I am forced to come to terms with throwing it out because it no longer works. Good for one use? I'm sure that's not what was intended, but that's what it is. To be clear, the hat powers on but shows no obvious sign of having done so. I can cycle through the preset graphics built into the hat but my phone will not connect to it through Bluetooth. Something in that process has failed after the initial connection and I can not reestablish the connection. I have noticed that when I am in a preset graphic and attempt to connect that the screen goes blank, so in some sense it is recognizing the attempt before it fails. It seems a software issue, and I don't see a way of addressing it as a user, not even a reset button. I'd be happy to be sent a new one if these early issues have been addressed but I think I'm more likely stuck with a severely limited unit.

This hat is sooooooo awesome!! My son lived it but I may have loved it even more!! You can program it to say anything you want, beat to music, draw pictures, just about anything!!! Wil buy this again, especially for gifts!
