Value is all in the price
I wasn't expecting too much from this inverter, but I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. It is mostly use for charging cordless battery's and I've had no issues. The fan runs very quietly with no circuit buzz. The panel meters are bright are fairly accurate as well. This is a nice unit for the light-duty requirements I have, and I bet will perform well under higher demand. I'm happy and would recommend it.

Inexpensive pure sine inverter
Pros: - Quiet in low power use. Fan auto turns on when under heavy load. - Warning sound when battery gets low. Cons: - larger than expected - only one outlet For the price, this unit works well. I bought a modified inverter since its cheaper then the pure sine. However the APC battery backup outlets would not work with modified sine. I ended up trying this inverter since it's cheaper than other pure sine. I'm turning my truck bed into a camper for a week of camping off grid. I needed a power inverter to power the wife's hair dryer and other electronics. Ended up with a 30Ah lithium battery for electonics and a marine battery for the high amp devices like hair dryer and cooker. Added a toggle switch to flip between the two batteries and connected to a 200W solar panel to charge the two batteries. So far the unit works great. I would give 5 stars if it had a USB plug and another outlet.

RUN AWAY DO NOT BUY!
This is not the inverter you are looking for unless you want one that explodes its mosfets and caps the first time you use it! I rarely ever have to write bad reviews, mainly because I rarely ever order anything that doesn't have a good existing track record but I do spend a lot of time searching around trying to find that sweet spot between price and reputation. I messed up on this one and you should learn from my mistake. This thing is JUNK. Overload protection DOES NOT WORK. Every other inverter I own gracefully shuts down if you run something too big for it. First off, the appliance I was trying to run should not have been anywhere near enough to stress this inverter out. A 250 watt motor whose startup peak should be well under the rated 2k peak of this inverter. Turned it on and got treated to an early 4th of July fireworks display out of this unit. I had large cables hooked very tightly and securely to a very nice deep cycle battery that is less than a year old. This thing seemed to dead short inside, my battery read 12.8v before hooking up and after the fireworks and disconnecting it about 60 seconds later it was down to 12.1v. Do you know how much of a dead short it would take to drop a big battery's voltage that fast? Might have damaged the battery actually. Took a look inside, only one of the four fuses blew and you can see in my pics the fried mosfets. I see way over on the left is one little thermistor glued to the casing and this would surely be intended for the unit to use to detect overheating conditions on the fets but the problem is it would take a sustained massive overload before the heat spread that far and the thermistor read it, you'd have to be at overload for several minutes probably and my fets blew in about 2 seconds flat. Poor and probably dangerous design. I tried to find the best value in a high power inverter but apparently this is one area where trying to save money is just not going to happen. I am (obviously) returning this immediately and will start shopping around again but with probably more than twice the budget in mind to get something brand name and reputable. These high power inverters are dealing with far too much amperage to risk going cheap and I don't want to get burned again.

Economical 1000 watt inverter
So far it's working well, I use for hours at a time with die grinder and belt sander, have used it for 4 or 5 months, very happy with it, cons: no plastic cover on the watt and volt lights but not to big a deal as I'm careful with my tools

Works great in my solar application.
Is working as advertised and maybe a bit more. I have noticed if the voltage gets a bit low and shuts down the inverter, it will start back up when the voltage gets high enough.
