Gave it 3 starts bc it doesnt feel like it would protect phone drops too well its to thin . but it fitts perfect no errors in product. The case is very comfortable when grabing phone it helps it not to slip in the hands . do i would say if you are looking for phone case that gives you very good protection i belive you must look else were for does who are more Cargill in handeling your handset it will be prefect for your phone an wallet lol . Hopefully this review will help yall purches what is best for you .

I've been using this case for over a year and I am very hard on my phones. Lots of drops and bangs and this case has protected my phone to the end. Thats right... My case finally separated like some others posted.... The rubber at the bottom is detached. I contacted OtterBox Customer Service and within 12 hours got a response that a replacement case is on the way.... No charge to me. Thank you OtterBox for an outstanding product and even better Customer Service.

Good, solid polycarbonate case, should protect the G8 against many of the threats out there. Surprised it did not include any protections for the face/display, so probably want to get a separate screen protection add-on.NEVER needed a case before these $%#$%^%#$^ blasted "glass" phones and their "rounded edge" fronts. This has become the standard, and it represents a TRULY massive design flaw. Previous phones were an LG G3 and G5 -- 2y and 3y respectively. NEVER EVER had a case for them. They had NO cracks or chips when I retired them. My point here, I'm pretty good at properly handling my phone so it doesn't get messed up. The G8 had multiple cracks and chips within FOUR MONTHS. This design "feature" is totally GARBAGE. "Oooohhhh, but it looks so sleeeeek." Yeah, until you put the ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED *fat* and *ugly* case on it to protect it, after which the "sleek" is flat out GONE. Stupid, incompetent IDIOTS.There are people out there -- the designers and project managers who made these decisions -- who should be digging ditches for a living instead of doing what they are doing./rant offIt's a good case. Again, probably want a display protector of some kind, too.SMH.:-/

The build quality of this phone protector is sturdy and I am able to press all of the physical buttons on the side of the phone. The USB-C fits perfectly. 100% recommend. My recommendation improvement would be to make the protector a little bit more thicker.

Coming home from work today and the truck in front of me hauling junk with no straps looses a bucket full of gravel. I do the right thing and stop to get the bucket out of the road. My phone in an Otterbox case inside a belt clip case falls off me. I didn't notice till I got home. Drove back and friendly guy ran out after I drove off and found it in the road gave it back to me. Otterbox didn't have a scratch but phone did not make it... proves Otterbox case is stronger than a $500 phone.

Love the price and fit

Very nice case and fist my LG G8 very well. Buttons are very easy to press. Fingerprint reader is easy to access. I switched from the Defender case to this one and this case is much more user friendly.

This is thin enough to be a regular case vs the crazy box I expect from the Other people. My phone is no longer sliding off every surface & it feels good in my hands.

As usual OtterBox never lets me down. This is a hard case and fits my phone great.Only issue I have is there is a "ditch" along the edge of the phone but that is because my screen is curved. Also found it to be a pain to get screen protectors and opted for a jelly screen that molds to the screen which doesn't affect the case at all

I love these cases. This is my second one (for different phones), and I will keep buying these as long as they keep making them.

Strong & sturdy

Only complaint is it is not available in Canada. Had to order from US Amazon site. Phone Carriers in Canada will tell you Otter box doe not make one. Just order from the US. They make one for US markets. LG G8x thinkq
