Newly potted plants in new soil will need these nutrients more often than things planted in ground. My peppers are growing beautifully in pots by adding this to the soil.

I grow most of our veggies and herbs indoors and have been reusing soil from disposed of plants to save on costs of buying potting soil. By adding trace minerals to soil, nutrients are more available to plants which is true of plants grown both indoors and outdoors. Minerals added to the soil are absorbed by the plants resulting in veggies that contain more vitamins and minerals and are healthier for consumption. As decomposing rock material reacts with soil microorganisms and plant material, the rock material releases elements like calcium, magnesium and iron. Remineralization with rock dust is a low-cost, high-impact way to aid in the regeneration of soil by closely mimicking natural geological and biological interactions. I am not a soil scientist; therefore, I have no idea if Azomite (rock dust) can be absorbed into the plants or not. I am sure there are those who say it cannot and I appreciate their opinions. My guess is trying to replace lost or non existent minerals into soil is worth the risk. Down to Earth Azomite represent the best chances of it actually doing what it says.

I use a lot of DTE products and this year has everything starting out strong & green. I just sprinkle the yard around all the trees & bushes and it just incorporates itself into the soil over time. Just give any of their products a try and be patient for the garden recovery you'll soon witness!

I've been using this on my St. Augustine grass for a few years now. From what I've read it kick-starts the growth in the Spring, and also helps the grass recover from all of the stress of both 100 degrees plus in the Summer and our 5 minutes of snow we had in Houston Texas in January. It's easy to apply, does need water to activate it but does not contain anything that burns the grass, so you don't have to worry if you missed watering a bit of it, which I like. Once you apply it you can see the grass really start to green up within a week or two. Also, because they are granuals you're not dealing with powder flying everywhere. Very well pacakged so I will order from here again.
