Life changing if you let it be. Recommended without hestitation. A truly beloved book!
This is one of the most haunting books I've ever read. I've read it a minimum of twice, perhaps 3 times and could sit right down and read it again. It feels like two books in one. The first part reveals one of the most traumatic childhood stories I've ever read, (and my own was a humdinger). The author conveys in a rather matter-of-fact style, shocking elements of neglect and abuse that no child should have to endure. It appears she developed her unique spirituality and unconventional life view dependent on that experience. Her connection to nature is astonishing and uncanny. Her wisdom is deep and lasting. I have purchased several of her books and have two Genesa Crystals on my property as a result of reading some of them. (Perelandra Garden Book with image of metal ball on the cover has the design schematic within). I have worked withflower essences, nature spirits, and manifestation principles as a result of this woman's ideas. I have also planted a circular garden and set aside a fairy space for many years. This book, however, is the first convincing story in the lot. Recommended joyfully and heartily to all with open hearts and minds.

Life changing
I highly recommend this book to anyone that is wanting to connect to nature and all that is on a deeper level. This book just blew me away. I have been looking for information and education about the Nature Spirits, Divas, etc for many years to help me better teach my animal communication students and this book opened that door for me to walk through. The author is so generous to open her life and share her experiences with the world. What a fantastic journey she had to get to where she is. There are so many teachings that each of us can apply to our own lives. My only issue with the book is about the animals but maybe the author has now had different experiences with them. This book is going to be added to my list of books that I recommend. I just love it. (I still have a few pages left before I am to the end.) :-)

Very unique and beautiful story of her life and connection to nature unlike many of us have ever seen.
very interesting and unlike anything I have ever read. Starts with an interesting and engrossing story of her childhood and growth through many struggles and ends with a better understanding of nature, co creation with nature and a MOST wonderful and useful meditation for clearing the area or space you live in. I also utilize her MAP technique and it has brought much clearing of anxiety and heaviness for me physically and emotionally so I highly highly recommend that book as well- but it is very different, it is more of a plan or program and doesn't have as much of a story as this one. I also recently started using her Perelandra essences and have found them valuable and very beneficial as well.

Mixed emotions about this book
I was intrigued by the first part of the book, although a bit dubious in some areas of her life story. Then as I read on, I became enchanted by the logic & insight that the author claims was given to her on her journey into the world of nature. What a jolt & a let-down when I came to the part where she admits to being a "meat eater" & tries to convince the reader that a lamb is no different than a head of broccoli. Eating meat, she claims, is necessary in some people in order to "maintain their balance." Using that "logic", let's suppose that a stronger being decided to slaughter & consume the author, using the claim, "Sorry ma'am, just maintaining my balance, you see. Nothing personal." The author would probably feel somewhat different than a carrot would under the same circumstances. Whether or not, eating meat is necessary for health isn't the point but I would think that the author could come up with a better & more sensitive explanation for her eating practices. I'm so surprised & disappointed in this part of the book's concept at that moment& wonder if any other readers feel the same way.

Great addition to Machaelle's others works.
I was familiar with Machaelle's other works, The Garden Workbook Perelandra Garden Workbook: A Complete Guide to Gardening with Nature Intelligences , MAP MAP: The Co-Creative White Brotherhood Medical Assistance Program , and Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon before I read this autobiography. I was fascinated, and could not put it down, devouring it completely. if you enjoy Ms. wright's work, you should love this book detailing how she became who she is.

a good read
I really enjoyed this book as a part of my spiritual journey. I tested the premise and used it repeatedly when I communicated to energies of dogs. Having had trauma with dogs as a kid- I am now able to speak their language and be safe. We are all connected.

No matter what our personal trials & tribulations we might go through in life they are the stepping stones to our Creation!
Yes it was most interesting, I felt deeply connected to her personal journey. I felt riveted to her story that eventually led her to do what she now does - A Journey of true Alchemy so that her experience becomes the stepping stones for an amazing healing work, be the Perelandra's Gardens, the Perelandra's essences but also the underlying message to us all: no matter what our own personal trials & tribulations, the strength of human spirit always wins in the end! Of course if allowed to speak which she did, thank you Machaelle for having written this book and amazing encouragement to rekindle one's own human spirit!

Definitely parts of this book give the insights into the world of nature and the invisible world surrounding us. Maybe too long and too detailed with personal life.

The place to start with Perelandra
While no two people will experience the same path, it is still useful to explore the paths of people who have traveled in a different direction than most. If your interest is in the intelligence in Nature, this is a great work to explore. There is some great wisdom in it, and also some places that most will not be ready to accept. But all together, it is very well worth a look, if the topic draws you.
