Very well made pants for big and tall fit - with good high rise feature
So often clothing in big and tall sizes is poorly constructed. Not these pants from Haggar. They are very well made and the fabric is heavier than expected, but not overly heavy or stiff like denim. Some reviewers have complained about the high rise, but this is exactly what I was looking for. The rise is higher than normal, but I would not call it too high. It allows me to wear the pants slightly higher on my waist, which I really like since I don't strut around with hip-hugger jeans anymore. It is difficult to find a decent pair of high rise pants in an extended size, but these fit the bill. They are the best business casual pants I have bought in a long time.

These are good pants, they fit well and are light and ...
These are good pants, they fit well and are light and comfortable. The missing two stars is because these things are a SERIOUS lint magnet. Literally half way through my work day I had a ton of tiny little white/grey specks all over these pants, and a few that were a little larger than just "specks." I lint rolled them at that point, and by the time I left work they were in the same shape. Now, I could understand if I was brushing up against things all day, but I work in a brand new (literally they're still constructing it, my floor just opened about 2 weeks ago) office building and am sitting/standing in the same place for about 6--9 hours of my day.Not exactly enough to keep me from wearing them, but I will definitely have to keep in mind not to wear them on meeting days.

Very nice pair of "big man's" pants
The pants fit very well across my big belly, the drape is nice, the pockets are comfortably deep, and it washes and dries well. I always leave them in the dryer, but never have to iron them. The hidden expander works well. My only complaint is that I would prefer it had more belt loops, but that is just a preference. I will definitely order more of these.

Excellent fit finally
I have been ordering and trying on khaki trousers for several weeks. I seem to be odd shaped. Anything over 29 inch length drags. 44 inch waist just doesn't seem to make it any more. Several 46 inch waists were good at waist but too baggy from waist to a bit below crotch. These Haggar big and tall 46/29 fit perfectly. Only complaint is that step up from regular to big and tall seems to cost several dollars more.

These are perfect - plenty of room without looking like grandpa's ultra-roomy
I ordered a size 52 x 30. I've tried many of the other brands and most have a rise that is too short and/or are too tight in the butt and/or crotch. These are perfect - plenty of room without looking like grandpa's ultra-roomy, high-waisted trousers. The expandable waist is impossible for others to notice, especially when a belt is worn. The fabric is nice - not too light and not too heavy - perfect for 3 seasons. If you're a big guy lie me, I highly recommend you give them a try and then leave your own comment.

A very decent pair of pants... I will probably order these again.
While the pant fits as expected, I am referring to the waistline. I totally expected that I would have to have the pant length shortened because nobody makes pants with a 28" inseam. Fortunately, my wife is an excellent seamstress. Already done. (oh, because of the material, if you shorten the pant, you will need to iron the new cuff area. This is because the material tends to not take to being folded and holding the shape.I like how they are lighter than some pants. Some I have experienced felt like I was putting football pads on for a game.

Hope it was just a faulty batch.......
Brought these pants in 2 colours approx. 1 year ago (Navy & Black). The Navy has worn & washed well and still looks like new. Unfortunately the Black is a completely different story. The colour has basically gone from the front thigh area and they now look brown instead of black. Also due to the thickness of the lining material around the back pockets, the back pockets have 'wear' marks from the edges of the fabric on the inside rubbing against the outer fabric.Due to the rubbing of the 2 fabrics, I now have a hole in the corner of one back pocket and the other pocket won't be too far behind it.Love the fit and feel and will try again with another pair of the black...........I hope I just had a faulty pair the first time as the Navy are perfect and they have been worn & dry cleaned exactly the same number of times :-(

Great ventilation
Really like these pants. They fit well and look nice, but the material wears through. Came home one day from my office job after only a month of wear and found a whole through the material right in front of the pocket. Good thing I had dark shorts on that day. I thought I must have snag it so I bought another pair and the same thing happened, but in the back. Checked it out and it is definetly worn through not ripped. Used to be a good product, too bad.

Comments
The package came torn, both outer and inner package. I asked the delivery person, he said not sure. But the pants thankfully was ok, no torns visible, just dirty. Little too large, especially around the leg area, would probably need slight tayloring. But overall beautiful material. Would buy again, always a gamble buying online.

A nice look and well made
These are a good looking pair of pants that seem to be well made. They seem to be easy to take care of. The fit is what I expected. I am pleased with my purchase. I have owned these for about 3 or 4 months and I have one suggestion for Haggar, given these pants are sized to fit a big man, they could use two additional belt loops. I am not taking away a star for this issues however the two additional belt loops would improve the fit and look of these pants.

Big pants, really, really big pants.
I purchased these pants under the assumption that they would be a regular to slim fit. Such is the style these days and I like to flaunt my ass-ets... but upon receiving these giant brown clown pants I was shockingly disappointed. These would have been returned however my wife (sweet as she is and with the best of intentions) washed them in an effort to shrink them. Unfortunately and possibly a testament to the quality of fabric used they did not shrink. Now I am stuck with giant, brown pants... however on the plus side with a little glitter added I'll be ready for Halloween with my all new, fat, white MC Hammer costume.

Some issues with this Haggar product
I'm a regular Haggar customer but these pants have a fabric cut that produced a tight fit across the full length of the thigh to knee region, making it awkward sitting and getting up. Additionally, expect the thigh region to stick to your body in rain or even in mist wetness...not good for hiking. It gives me the impression that we have classic fit on top and bottom and form fit from thingh to knee. Sorry Haggar, I still love your products but you need to get one right.
