iB-WRD12GN, 1200M Mesh Gigabit Dual Band Wireless AC Router, (Black)

I was looking for a replacement for my D-Link DIR-816 router, which came as a default instrument with my Airtel Broadband connection. Reason was weak and spotty WiFi speed (< 5 Mbps on a 100 Mbps line) in some corners of my condominium. I initially shortlisted few models from Asus and TP-Link (all given excellent reviews but costly options). Having priced north of 7K and 4K respectively. Then I stumbled upon this particular model from iBall - Similar specs (I am no techie), excellent reviews and reasonably priced. And I took a leap of faith. Oh boy, Am I dissapointed? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! in the same corners of house, where DIR-816 was giving me speed of < 5 Mpbs, now I am getting a speed of > 60 Mpbs on 2.4G. Bottomline, Don't be sceptical looking at the price (As initially I was). This could be an excellent choice if you are looking to improve WiFi connectivity. Go for it.

Poor customer service and a very poor built product. Became defective in just 3 months and to top it off the company customer service people kept disconnecting the phone and insisted on taking the product to service center who said that the product will be repaired or replaced only after a month and that too not on an amazon supplied bill,but an invoice from dealer which mentions the serial number of the router. Apparently buying from amazon is not worth it and does not help in warranty. Imagine getting a replacement after a month. How will one use internet without the router. I SUGGEST TP LINK OR D LINK BRANDS. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ROUTER.

Received open boxed product so i checked carefully routers seems fresh one but adapter was old one so i checked output voltage its has 9 volt but actual adapter with products is of 12 v as i am using one, so carefully check if you received packed boxed. Product i am already using is very good with high range upto 800 sqft with multiple bricks wall, i am purchasing other one to use mesh function and enhance range

Have received my iBall Gigabit router last week. Would love to share my comments for it. Packaging: Packaging is quite safe & impressive. Look: Its design, cool 4 Omni directional Antennas & shiny black colour makes it look different from others. Performance: Data transmission speed is superb, it’s very fast. It covers a huge wide area of my apartment. It’s a perfect value for money. Highly recommended. Worth for money....

The product is good for the price. However you will get disappointed with its 5G signal strength. The smart tv is which is just 10 feet away couldn't grab the signal and often drops. I tried adjusting the antennas, moved the router a bit the result was same. i made sure that the end points had zero interference but it didn't improve the signal strength. Iam yet to call the tech support but i think i know what iam going to get. Update on 09th June 2020 ------------------------------ Forgot to add when i reviewed the first time. Though they are calling it a Gigabit router, the LAN ports are not gigabit ports, they are simply 100 mbps ports. So you are not going to experience the gigabit speed. Not sure why it was advertised as Gigabit router

Good Wifi modem with dual band ,high speed .Good range .First time I purchased the iball batton dual band modem.Before this I always used D.link for my home wifi.This is used where I live on rent. Good product with good price.Go for it without thinking,it's upcoming technology .

Worst decision of choosing this router. Installing this is such a pain in the head i have to call iball support and my isp to setup this thing but it took around 1 to 2 hrs to setup this and still this router unable to perform even what is written in the description. Frequent disconnection with 2.4 g and 5g was unable to connect to any device... Replaced 1st device as it looks like an opened box is delivered... 2nd router received and it also looked like an open one... I received it because i get this router in very good deal.. But i regretted my decision after accepting it... Finally i returned this item and ordered tenda ac10 1200mbps which is far better than this...
