Reminds me of the old Zim Zam game I had as a child!! Hours of fun, who can resist a ball on a string lol. Ball will need replaced in time, just as anything will. Only thing I wish, the paddles had padding on the handle part, but I managed to use foam and duct tape to do it myself.

LOVE THIS! My family had so much fun playing this. It was also a really great way to get a quick and fun workout in. Unfortunately, two weeks after we got it; the tennis ball split and broke; making it unusable. I don't see a replacement that looks the same on Amazon. Another con (I guess)...the paddles have no cushion on the handle and my kids got blisters on their inner thumbs. Maybe we all played to much or to hard...but like I said; it was really fun! Now I'm hunting for a way to replace the tennis ball/rope/hook.

We recently purchased this to have in our backyard as my Wife said she used to play for hours when she was a child. We set it up and our two young boys wanted to play right away! Easy to set up but after long periods of play you might need to move it as the ground gets loose around the pole. We took it camping with us and it kept the kids busy for hours! Such a simple but fun game to play.

I would not recommend this for children, age 6. The ball wraps around the pole rapidly, thus shortening the rope… and is hard to hit, but easy to hit your opponent. It’s dangerous! My grandchildren love tennis, but lost interest in this within 5 minutes. My husband & I tried it out, and it’s really useless. Don’t buy!

did not hold up well

Pretty good set when you can keep the ball and string even on the pole. Once it gets too close to the bottom or top the string gets tangled around the pole. Maybe that’s how you know who’s the winner. I use it by myself for exercise and would prefer if you could just continually hit the ball without getting tangled up. Overall a great game though.

Had this when I was a kid and played it all summer long with the neighbors! It was called Zim Zam back then and that thing was sturdy! This…not so much. However we have taken it camping several times and use it in the yard and so far it has not broken (as other reviews mention), but the string does get stuck in the coil which is annoying, and it’s not as stable in the ground as I remember our old one being. We made an extra stand out of conduit for it so it stays in the ground better. But my kids love it and it’s a great way to get those aggressions out, especially when they get good at it and can hit it back and forth every time!

Se clava en el pasto aunque después de varios usos hay que enderezar los soportes donde pone uno los pies para enterrarlo. Si se juega con todas las fuerzas, se rompe la pelota. Pero igual pasa con cualquier pelota de tennis.

It didn't come with the extra ball as advertised and not even a week in, the tennis ball keeps coming off the string. For the price, I expected better quality.
