H2Oh-My-Goodness, What a Stabilizer!
Now, I may just be a humble craft enthusiast with an affinity for embroidery and puns, but let me tell you, the Sulky ULTRA Solvy Water Soluble Stabilizer is no joke. If you're into embroidery, you probably already know that stability in life is key. And by life, I mean, your craft projects. When I first came across this product, I thought, "Wow, 'Ultra Solvy'? That sounds like a superhero name!" And folks, it did not disappoint. It swoops in to rescue your delicate fabric faster than you can say, "Oops, I botched that stitch!"The way it disappears with water reminds me of my responsibilities evaporating when I start a new Netflix series. Truly magical!I used it to make patches on my embroidery machines, and let me tell you, those patches now have more stability than my 401k. (Don't tell my financial advisor I said that.) The Sulky ULTRA Solvy Stabilizer held up brilliantly, supporting my work with the stoic endurance of a zen master meditating in the middle of a rock concert. To sum up: Not all heroes wear capes. Some come as rolls of stabilizer, rescuing your patches from the jaws of saggy, sad stitches and turning them into works of art. So do yourself a favor. Invest in the Sulky ULTRA Solvy. It's your crafting career's secret weapon. And in the meantime, if someone finds my lost sense of financial stability, let me know.

The gold standard for free-standing lace embroidery!
For making free-standing lace embroidery, this is The Stuff. It feels like a thick sheet of plastic when you hoop it, and holds even heavy lace designs very well. It takes a fair amount of rinsing to remove it all (you can tell when it's completely gone because the lace will not be sticky anymore) and the soaking bowl gets kind of slimy afterward! But all worth it because the final designs are beautiful and never fall apart. I never have gaps where the embroidery has pulled apart when I use this. That's not to say that thread never gets snagged and messes up, but you'll find that happens occasionally on pretty much any project if you sew/embroider a lot.Previously, I had been using a fabric-style stabilizer for making lace, which tended to have some problem areas after soaking to remove the stabilizer. The fabric style is easier to wash away & the final product feels softer against sensitive skin, but so many of my designs had parts that became disconnected or didn't catch, that I had to spend hours repairing them and it wasn't worth it.

Ultra Solvy Stablizer
I can't say enough about this product, you can use it in so many applications for embroidery and if you think about it a little you will find you can probably use it in different crafts. I have used it a lot, you can make beautiful Xmas tree ornaments, embroider on really difficult materials. Once you have used it you will find many ways you can create something special. I have to admit I love Amazon, I come here first when looking for anything I want to buy. They have access to just about anything you need. I joined Prime and sure glad I did, just about everything ships free 2 day shipping and I do a lot of shopping. I live out in the country and it saves so much time and fuel(diesel) which is .50 more a gallon than regular gas, It's over 60 miles round trip to the shopping town near me, It has really paid for itself plus with a Roku & Prime I get free movies.

Just ok
I purchased because of the price point, I would not use again on white FSL as it yellows. Badge Master is much better. I guess it might be ok on colors other than white.

Great product
Excellent product, easy to use, dissolves easily without a trace. Much easier to use than thinner cloth versions easier to manipulate under machine. Economical as you can use small amounts , very simple to grip whilst sewing

Stitches out beautifully on my fussy machine
Arrived before said date. Stitches out beautifully on my fussy machine. Quickly learned that not all embroidery designs can hold on their own ;-P. Rinsing of this product needs to be done very carefully without touching top threads. It otherwise sticks like glue and dulls out the the embroidery. Suggest letting soak through back on a wet towel. Results are great when done right. Very happy with shipping and service with this seller. Would buy from again. Thank you!
