Leki Micro Vario Carbon AntiShock Pole - Women's

Let me just say, I would have never made it up Mt Washington in NH (Tuckerman's Ravine trail) if I didn’t have these poles. My knees thanked me at the end of the day. You can quickly and easily adjust the height of the poles as the trails get steeper. It’s super compact-able and light weight. Handle grips are super comfy. I literally have nothing bad to say about this. If you’re thinking of purchasing - don’t think twice. It’s worth every penny.

There a must have for hiking in all terrains. They are light, and easy to handle. Saves you from falling. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Once I figured out how to open the poles and snap them in place they worked great. That took watching videos over and over. I just had to realize I had to yank very hard on the pole to snap it securely in place, find the button to fold the pole down again and everything clicked!

I appreciate every part of the design - strong and dependable, compactable for travel, with shock absorbance, very lightweight. I bought the fitness walking tips to use for Nordic Walk. Simply remove the walking tips for trekking.

These are beautifully light poles and I had great hopes for them, but the locking mechanisms broke on my first short hike with them. Hard to imagine such poor quality for such expensive poles. Thankfully, Amazon made returning them easy and I got my money back in short order...sadly I would think twice before buying a Leki again even though I heard such great things about them...
