Is the powder a brown color?

NO. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. THIS IS NOT pure CoQ10 powder, as it claims to be. If it were, it should be a fine, soft, bright orange powder. What I received was instead tan granules. I called the company, in case it was an honest mistake, like maybe a different product ended up in the bags by mistake. They did not call me back, so I returned it. I have bought pure CoQ10 ubiquinone powder at least a dozen times, from at least 3 or 4 other companies. It is always a soft bright orange powder. This was a totally different product, and not at all what it claims to be.

Any aftertaste for this product?

I have not noticed any aftertaste at all.
