Produce bags need washed before use
These bags came in 3 different sizes, have a draw string closure, were inexpensive and look like they will hold up. My complaint is the strong chemical smell. I am soaking them now to try to eliminate that smell before I use them.

I was hooked by the price.
I have not yet used these but have laundered them. so far, so good. note that the cord is not the best... I retied each of mine with several more knots so that the "lock" mechanism will pull clear off of the cord. the "knots" in the cord need to be large enough so that the lock mechanism will stay tight on the cord and not slip plumb off when pulled. I took care of that problem. I believe I will very pleased with this purchase once I start using them. I will use mine with purchasing and washing and storing fruit and vegetables. I am happy. I have not weighed one of these bags but I believe that thought they are heavier than groc store micro thin grocer veggie bags these bags are light weight enough barely register anything on a regular scale. the toggle on the bag and the little cord drawstring are super light weight materials as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Not Scannable
Although these are nice bags, they ARE NOT SCANNABLE, a piece of produce has to be removed from the bag to scan. I used 5 of these bags (washed before using) yesterday, three had produce with labels on them, all had to have an item removed to scan the label. The cashier told me these were the first bags he had encountered that WOULD NOT SCAN. I would recommend that you spend a little more and buy a better bag.

Great green product!
When I received these bags I was worried that they wouldn't hold up when washing them in the washing machine. No problem. They wash well and air dry right away. They are easy to use. Only problem is that you have to remove some produce to scan the price stickers.I plan to purchase a set for all of my adult children to help them get over plastic.

Bags work great!
I ordered these bags to replace single use plastic bags for produce transport and storage. The varying sized bags work perfectly for stalks of celery, broccoli and cauliflower, potatoes and all fruit. Easy to clean and reuse again. Glad I purchased them. I have shared them with friends and family.

Worth the money so far
They're a pretty thick material. The drawstring doesnt work very well but you can tie it. Dont know about durability since I havent had them long/used them much but everytime they have gotten dirty I've just tossed them in the washer with towels and they've been fine.The red ones will fit 2-4 bananas, a bunch of asparagus/green beans.The green ones can fit a good sized pineappleAnd the blue ones a large pineapple and could probably fit a 5 lb bag of potatoes in it

Big help , high quality
I love how I am not using so much plastic at the store. I buy a lot of produce. Corn ears or cucumbers do not poke through these bags. I feel good about using them. Now, if they only came with a beep on my phone or keys to remind me to bring them to the store. LOL

they will have to be open at checkout because you can't read the tags thru mesh :(
