We started our kitten off with felix and though she was interested, I found that it wasn't really the best thing to have and that there wasn't *really* that much meat in it. Someone called it the McDonald's for cats. Now, I know Nature's Menu seems to be the best out there in terms of meat content (they've got 70% meat in 'em!) but my kitten couldn't be more uninterested, like she wouldn't even touch her meal and she truly isn't all that fussy. She adores hi-life (kitten/chicken) though and we have absolutely no problems! In terms of meat content, there is about 50%+/-. She is always excitable, playful, no problems in terms of digestions, etc.

Nice and smooth for small kittens

I have 2 senior cats that are spoilt and fussy and will love a food one week and go off it the next 🙈 but for a little while my 18yr old female has been eat hi life chicken and my 14yr old Tom cat is very picky with wet food but is loving a top brand complete dry food for kittens ( my vet has said kitten food is ok due to their ages as easy to digest and will keep weight on).Due to shortages in human and pet food and essentials at moment I couldn’t get adult hi life so bought kitten in desperation.My cats love it 😍 it’s a terrine/pate style texture but is creamier and with finer pieces of chicken in it and it smells so much more appetising than adult version? No typical cat food smell, it smells really good lol.My female was straight in there and didn’t leave until bowl was empty but shock was Tom cat ,he hasn’t been that interested in wet food lately but he awoke from nap and jumped up try force his head in bowl with female lol.I put him own bowl out and he too licked bowl clean.It hasn’t given tummy upset and their poo is still solid and actually doesn’t smell as bad!? They love it and meow incessantly at meal times until In bowl.It is slightly more expensive than adult version but il be reorder,they have been eat for week and female been eat hi life brand for over month and neither are tire of it they still lick bowls clean every time.Wish discovered earlier would have saved so much waste

Packaging different from advertised, but same product

Gradually changed my newly homed kitten over to this food because it's a better quality food than the one that she was weaned on. She eats it, so obviously likes. Poops are normal, so that's good. Mushes up easily when removed from the pouch. Wish this food came in more flavours so that my kitten doesn't become a fussy eater. Would prefer the food in a foil container as these can go in my recycling bin, whereas the empty pouch has to go in the general waste to landfill. UPDATE 11TH MAY 2026, FOR SOME REASON AMAZON WON'T LET ME ORDER ANY MORE BOXES OF 8 OF THIS KITTEN FOOD. I DON'T SUBSCRIBE BECAUSE I DON'T WANT CAT FOOD BEING STUCK ON A DELIVERY VAN OR CAR ON A HOT DAY, SO I'M PLACING THE ORDERS WHEN A DELIVERY DAY IS CONVENIENT TO ME NOT AMAZON. I'M PAYING MORE THAN THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICE, SO WHY DOES AMAZON HAVE A PROBLEM. I'M GOING TO NOW LOOK AT BUYING THIS DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER DUE TO AMAZON STOPPING ME FROM BUYING THIS.

I can’t comment on the flavour as I don’t eat it but my kitten loves it. It’s the food the breeder gave him and his brothers and he loves it so will keep with it till his first birthday. As for value that does seem to fluctuate quite considerably. The first time I bought it,it was £18, the second time for the same amount it shot up to £25 and the third time it was £13 and so I bought more as that price was reasonable.
