Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food, 8 lb Bag

This dog food has worked out very well for us and has become our regular staple dog food. It seems to be good quality, and most importantly, my dog really likes it and eats it without any issues. I also think it’s reasonably priced compared to many other brands. The 8-pound bag is a perfect size for us because it’s easy to handle and lasts almost exactly one month. That made it really convenient to set up on Subscribe & Save so I don’t have to worry about running out. Overall, this has been a dependable, good-quality dog food at a fair price, and I plan to continue purchasing it.

I buy this whenever I need emergency dog food because it gets to my house quick. It’s not what my dogs eat everyday but I get it when I’m in a pinch and my dogs eat it all up.

My rottweiler LOVES this food. We switched from Iams for large breeds which he has eaten for the past 5 years. We noticed he wasn't wanting to finish his food anymore. Which was not like him at all. Vet said nothing wrong. We were pairing it with Pedigree cuts canned food but he just didn't seem to enjoy it like he used to. He is so excited now for meal times, he goobles it up. We pair it with the Purina One canned food.

My active herding breed dogs enjoy this kibble. I do add water for multiple reasons: 1 dog eats too fast & it is easier to swallow, another doesn't have teeth to chew. It has enough calories to maintain my dogs in their active lifestyle. They eat it without any toppers, even though I like to give additional calories through toppings. Don't misunderstand me, it isn't a low calorie food; my dogs are very active. But, they find it tasty for a meal or in a puzzle toy.

I typically buy my two huskies top of the line dog food when I’m not feeding them raw meat. For some reason, they are picky and won’t always eat dry food. When it comes to Purina, they love it. I don’t know why, I think because of how it looks and the different pieces. For once it isn’t expensive so I’m not complaining, dry food is a supplement not a main meal.

My dogs love this stuff and its so gentle on their stomachs.
