C’est exactement ce qu’il voulait 17 mai 2025, ce matin mon mari est parti à la pêche avec sa nouvelle canne. À sa deuxième truite, truite de 8 pouces, la canne a cassée…voyons donc! Il est très déçu 😢

It was great, very sensitive on crappie’s bite. I got a lot of more crappie with it compared to my ugly fishing rod, although both are light weight response.

I’m a big creek guy and was told this brand is top tier. Not going to lie I am disappointed. It’s very flimsy and hard to get a precision cast. I will keep using it as a backup, but the main I will have to keep using the phenix.

The St. Croix Premier ML/Fast 6' is a phenomenal rod. I've paired mine with a Pflueger president 30 using 6lb braid w/ 10lb fouro leader for walleye and weekend fishing from the docks. This setup is smooth, lightweight and very responsive and snappy for jigging (primarily Rapala rippin' raps and VMC Neon Moon eyes). My other similar setup is a Pflueger Supreme paired with a 6'3" Fenwick walleye tech. If you're on the fence between these two rods I'd recommend the Fenwick for a bit more versatility/all purpose and the St. Croix Premier if you're looking for something lighter, snappier, and more overall responsiveness.

I will give it 4.5 stars sense I am coming from 4.5 rod moving up to a6.0 rod I think the more I use the better it will fit
