Chapin Premier Pro 1 Gallon Tri Poxy Steel Tank Handheld Liquid Sprayer for Lawn and Garden with Lock On, Adjustable Nozzle, and Wide Mouth Opening

I used it to spray fertilizer on my flowers, spray weed killer on the yard and wash my fence, I’ve had plastic tanks before that didn’t last.

I was buying the usual brand name Bug Sprays that came with their own plastic wand sprayer that was battery operated attached to the container. The sprayers they have did not work well at all and the spray stream was very weak.So I said there has to be a better way. I seen this while doing an Amazon search. I purchased and never looked back, I trashed the old brand name cheap plastic sprayers, brought them to the recycle center.When using this Chapin Sprayer it was so easy to use, there are no batteries and the sprayer is powered by the pressure you produce by pumping the handle. After pumping in the pressure just turn the handle back into the lock position for carrying and spray away. The spray is much more powerful and covers more area which lets me finish spraying in way less time. When spray pressure goes down, just turn handle, pump in more pressure, and away you go again, no batteries to worry about, and a much stronger spray stream, way to go for spray needs and efficiency.

Sprayer worked fine for the first season (purchased on Amazon May, 2022) but started leaking air through the pump gasket this season. (I use the sprayer for weed killer and garden spraying). I tried a new gasket from a Chapin repair kit but it didn't help. Called Chapin Customer Service and had to wait forever to talk to anyone. They suggested I apply some lube to the gasket (didn't help) then I called the next day and they said pull the pump apart and lube the inside plunger (it didn't help) then I called again and they agreed to send me a new plunger. Instead of a new plunger I received a very nice Chapin hose nozzle but no pump. I called again and waited forever again and they said they'd send the new pump which did come BUT DID NOT SEAL THE AIR LEAK. I decided to take the pump to the hardware store where they fitted it with an O-Ring which FINALLY sealed the leak! Oh, and then yesterday I received ANOTHER pump! Anyone need a new one? I have two extra!Now, why hasn't Chapin figured out the gasket thing? If you buy one of these just take the pump to the hardware store and replace the hard rubber gasket with an 0-ring and it should work fine.

Very disappointed in this sprayer. Did not get to use it until AFTER the return deadline had passed, so I'm stuck with it. Great looking sprayer and heavy duty, but I had trouble securing the screw on lid tightly. It kept leaking air, no matter how tightly I tried to screw the screw the lid. Looks like a great sprayer, but....leaked air!Cost more money but the quality wasn't there. I don't blame Amazon, just myself for not testing it sooner, and when I really needed it to do some house staining.

This sprayer is well made, easy to use and I suspect it will hold up well over the long run. It arrived ahead of schedule and is a good value.

When I first got it I had to seal all parts on the spray handle it leaked every time you sprayed anything it would leak down your arm the second time I used it when I pump up the sprayer I start spraying and I look down and all the poison is right by my hand on the outside of the tank I don't know what the problem is with this but I'm having a serious problem with it other than the fact that it is well built but it's not sealed very well I shouldn't have to work on it every time I tried to use it

hello, I just bought this and used it to spray tonight with Talstar P insecticide. while I am overall satisfied, there are a couple things that stand out to me. One is the wand attachment and nozzle attachement gaskets, they are cardboard and I have no idea how Chapin thinks this will work.. ever. Luckily I had some number 9 O rings on hand and these seemed to work perfectly, just don't over tighten them. Alternatively you could use teflon tape on the threads as well. In the accessory list it says it comes with a carry strap, but it was not included despite being a sealed box.The nozzle provided a fine mist as expected and the spray cut off valve operates as expected as well, no drips. this unit is solidly constructed but does not have a release valve so potentially you could spray yourself while releasing the pressure. Always wear your safety gear.Overall, this is a good quality unit, but is it worth $75 US? I would say maybe, as long as it lasts a long time. Being an all metal construction, I would hope it does.cheers.

This sprayer is very well made, simple to use and works great! The nozzle can be adjusted for fine mist, jet stream or in between. I bought it to fill with antiseptic solution to spray down my groceries (for covid prevention) and other cardboard boxes before bringing into house. I got tired of cleaning off with wipes and found myself cutting corners as it became a tedious process - plus it takes a lot of disinfectant wipes. I also bought bulk antiseptic solution and mix with water. It's easy and I'm saving a ton of money on wipes. I highly recommend.
