Great Ski Pants!
I used these for Skiing this year (2026) and really have NO complaints. They have held together through use and washes. I followed the care instructions (maybe the first time I have ever done that!) and have not had any issues. The fit is good and the hook and loop hold pretty tight. Along with a base compression layer I was warm and comfortable in 16 degree weather and stayed dry. The material is fashionable, durable and flexible.

Reliable and Functional Snow Sports Cargo Pants
I recently purchased the Arctix Men's Snow Sports Cargo Pants for my winter adventures, and overall, I am quite satisfied with their performance. These pants offer reliability, functionality, and great value for the price. One of the standout features of these pants is their durability. The sturdy construction and quality materials ensure that they can withstand the rigors of snow sports activities. Whether I'm skiing, snowboarding, or engaging in other winter sports, the pants have proven to be resilient and capable of handling various conditions. The cargo design of these pants is another highlight. The multiple pockets provide ample storage space for small essentials, such as keys, wallets, and ski passes. This added convenience eliminates the need for a separate bag or backpack, keeping my belongings easily accessible and secure. In terms of functionality, the pants offer excellent water resistance. They effectively repel moisture and keep me dry during snowy or wet conditions. The inner layers provide insulation, keeping me warm without compromising comfort. The adjustable waist and leg openings allow for a customized fit and accommodate different body types or layering preferences. The pants are relatively lightweight, which enhances mobility and flexibility during activities. I appreciate that they are not overly bulky or restrictive, allowing for a wide range of movement on the slopes. One aspect to consider is the sizing. It's important to carefully consult the size chart provided by the manufacturer to ensure an accurate fit. Some users have reported that the pants may run slightly larger or smaller than expected, so it's advisable to double-check measurements before making a purchase. While the overall quality of these pants is commendable, the zippers could be more durable. There have been occasional reports of zipper issues, such as sticking or malfunctioning. However, with proper care and attention, I haven't personally experienced any significant problems with the zippers. In conclusion, the Arctix Men's Snow Sports Cargo Pants offer reliable performance and functionality for winter sports enthusiasts. Their durability, water resistance, and cargo design make them a practical choice for outdoor activities. Despite potential sizing and zipper concerns, these pants provide excellent value for the price.I would recommend the Arctix Men's Snow Sports Cargo Pants to anyone in need of reliable and affordable snow pants. Whether you're an occasional skier or a passionate snowboarder, these pants offer the necessary features to keep you comfortable and protected in cold weather conditions.

Prefer these to the Arctix Essential Snow Pants
.These are very nice snow pants. I had first tried the Arctix Men's Essential Snow Pants, received those in a size too large, so sent them back and ordered the cargo version. It seems like the outer material for these cargo pants have a much tougher outer shell than the essential snow pants. The insulation in the cargo pants feels much more substantial, and yet not as bulky. All the extra pockets are cool, though doubt I will use more than half of them. The fit is just right when ordering these using the same size pants I normally wear. Made the mistake of ordering the essential snow pants based on my actual waist size (which is several inches bigger than the size on the pants), those were way too big. These look very sharp in black. Still seems strange to me that Arctix is almost the only brand (that you've heard of) selling these kind of pants at a reasonable price. We don't ski or snowboard, but we do snowshoe, just wanted something that doesn't cost a fortune and keeps us warm.Update: After wearing these for a trip, even the Large size is a bit too big, will need to get suspenders for it if possible, or put a drawstring through the belt loops. I ordered a second pair in the Medium to compare, and that's way too small. Looking at the sizes, there are clearly big gaps in the fitment ranges, and if you happen to fall within the gap, you're kind of screwed. The Large covers from 36-38 inches, whereas the Medium covers 32-34 inches. What happens if you're 34-36 inches?? I am about a 35.That said, I don't think even losing two inches would make the medium fit well - still would be tight, so the gap is even bigger than it seems. So I guess the theory with these pants is just buy bigger than you need and get suspenders or a belt/drawstring??

A Bargain For Exact Length Inseam Ski Pants !!!
I have bought multiple pairs of the Arctix brand of ski pants directly from Amazon in different colors and sizes for approximately $30 each.I am not an expert skier. All I want is pants that keep me warm, dry, and most importantly have an inseam that fits me properly since the boot zipper prevents alterations. Arctix is the only brand that has a 28 inch inseam for Men and 27 inch inseam for women. The Arctix ski pants check all boxes without breaking the bank. From the Arctix website:Medium waist range: 32 to 34 inches.Large waist range: 36 to 38 inches. The waist sizes are ADJUSTABLE with a VELCRO band on each side. The pants also have belt loops so you can WEAR A BELT to tighten the pants. The waist range is slightly large because they factor in you might be wearing thermals underneath and if you are skiing or snowboarding, the gyrating motion requires the pants to be looser. These are nylon pants not spandex so there is no "stretch". If the pants are too tight, they will rip at the crotch when gyrating.I can fit a medium comfortably with shorts but I also purchased the ski pants in large in case I wanted to wear jeans or sweatpants underneath. I do wear the medium sizes more.I have worn the pants when temperatures and windchill makes the "real feel" in the single digits. The pants were extremely warm. You might even sweat in them. Lol.At $30, I can buy multiple pairs. I have them in black, yellow, navy blue, and grey. The cheapest prices will be during the off-season when no one is skiing. 😀Fyi - The yellow color is flat; more mustard. It is not as bright or vivid as shown online. If you are a NFL Pittsburgh Steelers fan, the pants will still be fine to wear in a cold frigid football stadium. The other color pants; black, navy blue and grey look as they do online. 🤔😀UPDATE: I wore these in NYC during the 2026 Arctic Blast where windchills were as low as -20 degrees F°. For very short time periods (30 minutes max), my legs were fine with just shorts underneath these ski pants (and multi-layers puffer jacket and vest, vaseline on my face and hands, goggles, etc). Stay inside, avoid frostbite. Your tolerance to cold may vary. 😵💫😀

Good enough!
I used to snowboard at least once a week. Over the last few years that hasn't been the case. Over the course of moving I lost my pants and needed a pair before this weekend. I read A LOT of mixed reviews about these pants. So this was my experience with these pants.I used them for 2 days on the mountain. The first day was at a resort and the second was just in the snow at a friends cabin. My 2 biggest concerns with these were that they wouldn't be water resistant enough and the second issue was that they would rip like so many of the 1 star reviews mention. Neither of my fears became a reality. These pants held up to the abuse. Like I said, its been a few years so i spent a good amount of time on my backside and didn't have any issues with tears or water soaking. There were a few falls I had where I was moving pretty fast and slide for a while and not even the slightest issue with tearing.I didn't feel the quality of the buttons or zippers were bad at all. I never felt like I was going to pop off a button when I took the pants off. One cool feature that isn't really accented is that they do have a boot cover in the pant leg to keep the snow out of your boots too. They were plenty warm as well. We had temps down to about 16 overnight and they kept me plenty warm. The second day of the trip we were in knee deep power all day. No issues with leaking at all. Pants kept me warm and dry without any issues. The ONLY thing I will say about them that I wasn't the biggest fan of was how large the pant legs are. Its nice cause they slip right over your boots but the cuffs on these pants are seriously massive. When you wear normal shoes you look a little silly but with your boots on its good enough!I ordered a size Large and that fit great. Im 6'1, about 190 and wear a 33" waist. I did use a belt but they fit great! The belt was more cause i knew Id be falling and wanted to make sure I wasn't flashing the whole mountain!I would definitely recommend these to anyone. I don't know how long they will last, but for a weekend here and there they will definitely do the trick. And for the price you really can't beat it

Quality Pants / Fair Price
After wearing, honestly just ok. Good weight, they look good. The hardware is questionable, however. One of the front latches popped off the first wear. This is partially due to the sizing issue below. Also, the pair I received runs just a hair small. Maybe an inch or 2 in the waist. Consider ordering a size up, especially if you intend to wear layers underneath.

Worked for me in Tahoe
I have a pair of Hansen Helly cargo ski pants that I love and have had for over 10 years. Unfortunately the side pocket liners of the HHs gave way and I thought I would give these a try since the cost was so low. Just received them today and after trying them on I think they will work just fine. These are insulated. My old HHs are not and as a result these pants are noticeably heavier when holding side by side, but the weight is not noticeable when I have them on. The side pockets are relatively deep, but the cargo pockets (there are 2) are rather shallow compared to the single cargo pocket on my HHs.As far as fit I am 5' 9.5" with a 31" inseam and 32-33 " waist and I ordered a medium. These pants fit great length wise and I think someone with 32" inseam would be ok too. As far fit in the waist they were a little loose at first, but after I tightened the velcro waist bands they felt secure. One can also add a belt which I plan to do while skiing. All and all for $30 I don't see a downside to trying these out. Next week I go to Tahoe and I will update this review after I do a week of actual skiing in them. Until then all I can do is report that my first impression is a good one.UPDATE: I returned from Tahoe and skied for five days while out there. Had a variety of weather from sunny no wind 30 - 35 degrees days to 9 degree 40 mph blowing snow days. I wore these pants each day. On anything above 25 degrees no additional under layer was needed. The first day I wore them it was sunny and 30 degrees and I wore insulated underwear underneath and my legs got sweaty which I had never experienced with my HHs. However my HHs are not insulated either. Second day I just wore regular underwear and was perfectly comfortable even when temp dropped to 25 degrees. On 20 degree and colder days with wind blowing I did put long underwear on and was never cold and sweat was not a problem either. In conclusion for the price these are definitely 5 star.
