I drink a significant quantity of coffee in a day. Like--6-8 8oz cups. I use a K machine and buy the largest cups I can find. I like coffee :) The problem with making large cups of coffee, is that they get cold. The larger the coffee mug, the larger the surface area exposed to air--the faster it cools down. When working in a work space that is around 50 degrees in winter--this kind of science stuff really matters! So I set out on the hunt for a thermal mug. PROS: Keeps my coffee warm for hours. Seriously. 4 hours later and my coffee is still warm and drinkable. Very impressive heat retention. Lid is SUPER easy to pop on and off. This matters if you have grip issues or hand pain. I can pop this off to clean easily and it fits snugly back on. Easy to clean. Even the top little slider thingy is pretty easy to rinse. I have no complaints with tiny nooks and crannies like I have in the Contigo thermal mugs. OMG the stuff that grows in a day in those dark warm places---seriously a smooth thermal mug with a clear easy to scrub cover is the ONLY choice! CONS: Heavy. For me, this cup is just too heavy to use without a handle. Without the handle I need to use 2 hands and feel like I am drinking from a sippy cup. Spouse has zero issues with the weight of the cup, but Spouse has hands twice the size of mine so--yeah whatever. DUH it leaks if you tip it. If I take this mug, close the slider, and tip it towards my mouth, coffee still comes out. Ummm--yeah that is kinda how science works. Fluid will find a path and move with gravity. Unless this thing was crafted by NASA and had a screw top, ANY mug is going to have leaks. Fortunately I am a grown up and I can hold my beverages upright. If I do drop it, I guarantee this will make WAY less mess than dropping a ceramic mug of caffeine goodness. I can easily open this without hand pain, I can clean it, I have zero complaints because common sense tells me this can never be leak proof AND easy to drink from. Overall: I love this mug! It keeps my coffee hot, and that is what I wanted it for. It is a bit too tall to fit under my Keurig machine--I can use the LARGE coffee button 2x, and then have to hold it under the spout at an angle for the last Teeny cup. Not a huge deal, it holds exactly as much as my traditional coffee mugs did, and with the addition of a handle I have super hot coffee for hours. I did not, will not test this for cold beverages because I hate them. However, keeping with the science theme, thermodynamics gives a strong hint that it will be equally effective at keeping beverages icy cold for all you polar bears who enjoy such torture.

Great looking travel mug with a good selection of color combinations for the mug and handle. My boyfriend is a driver for a car parts company and is on the road all day. He grabs an iced coffee in the morning and sips off it all day long. With this mug, he can leave the mug in his can overnight and still have ice in the mug the next day. Much better value than the brand name mugs with the same level of quality. Comes with 2 different covers, a metal straw and a brush to clean the straw. Handle is removable if you don't want it or it doesn't fit in a particular cup holder setup, but it fits fine in both our cars and his work van.

2nd one ordered. It keeps drink cold for 24 hours, is just the right size for me to keep by my bed for sips to soothe my dry throat. But the best feature is the handle. SO comfortable, with a great thickness to it. Highly recommend. And the price? Miraculous!

This product is a great deal, but the lids, although designed with a gasket meant to prevent leaks, do not create a completely water-tight seal. The lid with the sliding opening looks as though it was meant to block the air hole (which I assume was designed to make the liquid inside flow more easily when drinking) when closed, but the plastic tab meant to do so does not even line up with the hole, so whatever's inside pours freely out of the small gap. The hinged flip top does a much better job at sealing the liquid in, but it does still trickle out if upturned, or tipped over. This aside, it does a great job at keeping things hot/cold most of the day and the tumbler itself seems to be very well-made, and has been surprisingly easy to clean. I very much like the option to attach a handle and specifically liked that this one came with one that had rubber on it, both to help it grip the tumbler, and for you to grip the handle. I specifically wanted a tumbler in as large of a size as possible, while still being able to place it in vehicle cup holders. This tumbler checked all of those boxes as well, although in my tiny Saturn (with a manual transmission) the handle can get in the way of the handbrake in the rear center console cup holder if not placed in a way that's not all that easy to grab it by the handle, and the tumbler's width begins to get in the way of the shifter and stereo in the front center console cup holder. This is basically par for the course with any fast food cups above 32 ounces anyway though in that particular vehicle.

I have used this new mug several weeks before making a review...not because I was not sure, but because I am enjoying it so much. This brand Chill OUT has all the qualities I have been searching for several years now. I refused to pay $25--$50 for a good mug so I am glad I took my time. First I am so pleased because it keeps my drink ice cold and I have timed it up to 20 hours... I don't drink hot drinks and only checked it once and hot water didn't hold up as well as cold......But I am thrilled with cold test. Next point.. I was uncertain I would like the curved holder in my hand but have found it to be very comfortable and safely secure to hold. Also handle comes off to clean completely. Next point .. this 30 0z size is perfect. It holds 2 can drinks with ice or a nice size of ice water that will hold me several hours before refilling. I have no problems taking mug in car as it comes with second sealed lid. The stainless steel inside prevents plastic smell and taste... I liked it so much I knew my husband would agree with me so he has one also. It is so nice to buy something and be so pleased with it and not have be sorry you spent too much for it...Makes you want to tell everyone YOU NEED THIS !!!!! Thanks for a good product Chill OUT!!!

A lot of the mugs you see people with are all pretty. It’s like I gotta get the real pretty one. Well this one isn’t pretty but boy it’s fantastic. It keeps everything ice cold and the handle is great for seniors cause it’s big. It’s thick and you can just grab it so think about getting this one instead of all the pretty colored ones this one iof mine is blue and I love that handle

I purchased both the brushed stainless steel and Army green tumblers. Based on the Army OD (olive drab) green that I remember from many MANY years ago, this green is a bit lighter in color but it's still nice. My husband (ex-Army) was pleased. These tumblers are the absolute best. I was shocked to hear my honey say "I love it!" after he had used it for just a few days. Living in Florida, drinks are always dripping on the outside of the glass/can, etc. Therefore, over the years we've been using plastic insulated tumblers which I hated because they are impossible to clean if you drink anything but water in them. After drinking Crystal Lite in them (especially the Punch), the plastic gets a red film that won't come off with soap and water...I even tried boiling water. As a result, once you've drank something flavored in the plastic tumbler, you can't drink water in it unless you don't mind your water tasting like your previous drinks. Did I mention that I hated them? Well they have now gone to the plastic tumbler heaven in the sky...or maybe somewhere WAY south of there? These tumblers are perfect in every way. We both decided we liked the lid with the two-way slider better for our iced drinks than the lid that has the snap down hole closure. (Both types of lids are included in the package. Maybe the flip closure lid would work well with hot drinks?) The lid is easy to put on and take off and never comes off when you don't want it to. The 30 ounce is perfect when you add half to three-quarter full of ice and a can of soda. You can easily put that much ice in the tumbler mid-afternoon and then just keep adding another soda all night long until about 2 a.m. without ever needing to add more ice. Even if you leave the tumbler sitting on the counter all night long, when you get ready to use it the next day, there is still a large ball of ice in it. The tumbler and it's stainless steel straw are easy to wash and no flavor of the previous drink carries over. To clean the straw you use the included bush and run the brush in from the top and then the bottom. I have to admit that I'm a straw biter so using a stainless steel straw took me a couple days to get used to but I came out at the end of those days with all of my front teeth intact. (Maybe I'm no longer a straw biter?) I'm used to using plastic or silicone straws in my drinks so I was a bit concerned by the size of the tumbler straws because the hole looked small but they are actually perfect. The length of the straw is also perfect. I had debated about whether or not to purchase tumblers with handles because I was concerned that the handle would just get in the way when the tumblers were put in the drink hole of our home theater chairs and in the vehicles. That concern was unfounded because the handles don't interfere at all. I actually believe that the handles make the tumbler experience better because it is less likely that we'll drop the tumbler. The tumblers are pretty big around so if you've got large hands you may not need the handle but for everyone else...the handle is optimal. Oh yea, and the handle stays in place and never tries to slide off unless you intentionally take it off. There is nothing we don't like about our Chillout-life tumblers. If you are on the fence about which tumbler to buy, wait no longer because these are awesome. These also make wonderful gifts. I hope you found this review helpful. :-)

I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL TRAVEL MUG!!!!! I have bought many, many travel mugs in my day. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST ONE I EVER BOUGHT! It very large without being bulky. It's very well balanced, doesn't tip over while driving and easly fits in the beverage holder. It comes with two lids, one for cold drinks and one for hot. The hot lid has a hinged lid cover with seals that snaps down to seal the lid shut while driving or carrying or so that when you knocked over your full hot coffee drink onto the seat of the brand new car you just purchased... ya, you heard me, I sure did.. brand mug, brand new car and a full large coffee right on the brand new never been sat on before seats... not a single drop was spilled, not one drop! And this lid easily snaps open and shut with one hand while driving. The well build handle is removable and easily slides right off the mug. Use the handle for hot drinks, remove it, if you wish for cold (great for washing up too!). ALSO, comes with a metal angled reusable straw AND the brush to clean it with... yes, they give you the tools to keep this beautiful travel mug looking it best! It kept my coffee nice and hot for hours and warm for over eight hours! OVER EIGHT, WOW! Thank you. You guys must love your coffee, ice coffee and the beautiful mug you enjoy it in as much as I do! Finally, somebody that gets it! Bought this for my girlfriend. She loves having a big coffee. Finally found a big mug to suit her needs. Loves the color, loves the straw that comes with it. Also pretty cool that you can remove the handle if you want. Overall great product!
