Sliding Glass Door Ratchet Lock with Chrome Finish, Keyed Alike Showcase Display - 2 Pack

I have all Dubia Roaches enclosures and when I saw the reviews being mixed on these enclosures. I was worried.. but I took the chance and bought 3 packs to test them out. I only have one big issue but it’s due to one of my oldest Dubia enclosures. The doors are more tight and it’s harder to open with the lock in place. I’ve tested the lock being on the bottom, top and middle: the lock does much better being in the center of the enclosures doors. Some wiggle when taking off the lock but it’s more noticeable in their V1 enclosures. The V2 enclosures do much better with them than the V1s. But other than the one MAJOR issue with the one V1 enclosure, all other FIVE enclosures work perfectly.

I gave this a four as it does a solid job and holds for now against a 4 and a half foot boa constrictor who likes to smoosh her nose against the glass however the grip on the lock to glass wiggles and needed to add rubber stopper to it. Pro's Cheap Holds glass sliding doors for sub-adult female boa fairly well easy to clip on using an AP cage 2x product for value, two locks and two keys per set Con's There is a right and a wrong way to slide the lock back on after opening Generic Key's used. Not great for safety if using for porch doors but nice for display cages Wiggly, does not have a plastic stopper on the screw to hold onto glass

Not bad overall and it gets the job done, but the screws inside the cabinet still feel a bit loose even after tightening them hard with a screwdriver. Quality is decent for the price. Only suggestion would be to improve the back plastic washer so it holds tighter and feels more secure.

Just incase you are blonde like me, you have to almost unscrew the screw all the way to the end of the fixture to add the rubber anchors to the bottom of the screw. Otherwise I like these.
