This is a really handy product for dealing with tougher stains and it works well without being too harsh on coloured clothes. It is especially useful for items that need a bit more help than a normal wash can give. The large tub is practical as well and lasts a good while, so it feels like good value if you use stain remover regularly. ​I am usually pretty skeptical about "miracle" cleaning products, but this oxi powder completely blew me away. I had a white linen shirt with a nasty, set-in spaghetti sauce stain that had already gone through the dryer once (which usually means it's ruined forever). ​I mixed a scoop of this powder with some warm water to create a paste, rubbed it directly onto the stain, let it sit for about an hour, and then threw it into a normal wash cycle with another scoop of the powder. The shirt came out looking brand new—the stain was completely gone, and the whites actually looked brighter overall. ​It also completely removed the dingy underarm stains from my gym shirts. It doesn't have a harsh chemical smell either, just a nice, clean scent. If you have kids, pets, or are just clumsy like me, you need this in your laundry room. Will absolutely buy again!

Really impressed with this stain remover powder. I used it on clothing with older stains that hadn’t come out in a normal wash and it made a noticeable difference after one use. It’s especially good for food and drink marks and helped freshen up lighter coloured clothes too. The powder dissolves well in warm water and is easy to use either directly on stains or added into the washing machine. I also like that you don’t need to use loads each time, so the tub lasts quite a while. The scent is quite strong when using it, but clothes smell clean afterwards rather than overpowering. As always, I’d recommend testing on delicate fabrics first, but overall it’s one of the better stain removers I’ve tried and definitely useful to keep in the cupboard

This was second time lucky, as the first package of Vanish split in the box. Amazon customer service were very good. As long as I returned the remainder of the Vanish, then they'd send me a replacement. Which they did, the following day. I like the Vanish product. It smells lovely and I can already see the benefit to adding it to my usual laundry products. It's very good at treating individual stains, if I pretreat them before main wash. They come out smelling lovely & extra clean. Value for money using Amazon as checked online and degree elsewhere. I've set up a subscription for monthly. But, I may well also try the Vanish for my whites to see if they brighten then back up as some have gone little off white over time using just my laundry detergents. My only gribe.... The packaging is quite flimsy as the screw lid cracked. A child safety lid would also be useful as this stuff is toxic if it ever got into little children's hands.

This is a really effective product. I have been buying vanish ever since having a toddler who always has stains which need removing from her clothes and I have found it works really well. I put a full scoop into washes with a few items of stained clothes and it seems to work really well and gets the stains out. Sometimes though if you only have a small stain or 1-2 items of stained clothing half a scoop can work well rather than the full scoop which saves on powder. Also I find the 1.9kg tub lasts us quite a while so is value for money when looking at other vanish products as I don’t need to put it in every wash or a full scoop every time.

This product is just the best at colour retention and anti-fade when washing. The smell is so fresh and I use this on every wash load I do. You don't need much to do a wash load so it's great value for money.

This is the best stain remover I've found! The works best when you Let the clothes soak first for an extended period of time like a day or more. You will see the stains coming out in the water you soak them in.

I normally use Biz laundry booster (excellent product). But, I gave this a try and have not been disappointed. I think it works slightly better (it has a couple of additional cleaning ingredients--both Vanish/Napisan and Biz are far superior to Oxiclean products). Just a note...Depending on country, the regular pink lid (oxy action)can have different ingredients. But, the gold lid (oxy advance) is always the good stuff regardless of country. There's even additional product, Vanish Gold which also has a gold lid, but it's different than oxy advance (also in a pink bottle with a gold lid) and may or may not contain an optical brightener. For example, in Australia Vanish Gold does not contain an optical brightener. But, the same product in the UK and the US does. READ THE LABEL! So, basically you get Vanish oxy action with a pink bottle and a pink lid. Currently, this product is being phased out. You can get Vanish Oxy Advance in a pink bottle with a gold lid--currently, in the US and UK this product does not contain optical brighteners. (This product has a gold lid and a big gold label on it, but does NOT use the word "Gold" on its packaging) You can get Vanish Gold in a pink bottle with a gold lid... It may or may not have optical brighteners, depending on country.
