excellent style and quality, but the instep is so high up the front of the foot that I had real trouble putting them on - that is more to do with me than the shoes - I really regret having to send them back because they are great

this is the second pair of these shoes i have purchased in the last 8 months the first pair where oxblood colour, i take a size 8 but these shoes i had to get a size 9 and a shoe horn to get them on, however once on they are extremly comfortable.

I was after these pair of shoes for decades and I've finally got them over six months ago...and I STILL haven't worn them as yet...I'm waiting for a special occasion ...not to mention they fit absolutely perfect :)

Initially I had a problem with the shoe size. After swapping them , very smoothly I might add.The shoes are everything I thought they would be.I will definitly buy again . Excellent service all round

My husband is escatically happy with these shoes they are both comfortable and stylish. They are a credit to the craftmanship and quality of the Dr Martens brand.

Looked great when they arrived. The usual you would expect from Dc Martens. Unfortunately it was impossible for my husband to get his foot in to them, they are so high on the instep and there is no elastic gussets which would have made ease of putting them on better.They had to be returned,which is a great shame. Unable to bend easily ,slip on shoes are the only alternative, in this case that wasn't to be. My daughter has 3 pairs of Dc Martens ranging from the high leg lace fronted boot to the type the police wear, she swears by them, the next pair will be from Camden Market where they paint them in all sorts of designs, they look amazing.

I take size 10 normally and had tried a 10 on in a shop. It was far too narrow and I couldn't even get half my foot in. The shop didn't have any 11 or 12 size so I left it.I ordered a size 11 and even that is way too narrow for my foot.The problem is that there is no elastic or give across the shoe - it's a solid strip of leather - hence sadly I still can't get my foot in the shoe despite getting a size too large.I normally wear DM boots and lace-up shoes and have no problem with fit, so it would seem Doctor Martens have miscalculated the size/width on this particular style of shoe.So, if you have narrow feet you'll be fine but, if like me, your feet are quite broad you won't have any chance of getting your foot in the shoe.

As a lover and owner of several pairs of Dr. Martens boots and shoes I was pleased to be able to buy these slip on 'loafer' type shoes. They represent hard wearing shoes with a bit of style. I am disappointed however with the stiffness of the uppers that are going to take an age to break in and make soft and supple.Not at all my past experience with Dr. Martens products.
